After he adjusted my clothes, I also sat up and kept quiet. So is he. To this day, I still haven’t lost the nervousness in my chest and other feelings in myself. Why is that?

“In any minute, we will be there,” he said. I just nodded to him.

I remembered that I didn’t have anything with me except my cellphone. “I’ll just send you to the staff there to buy your clothes. We will get back to the Philippines after two days,” he continued. So I immediately turned to him.

“Two days? Can I call my family because they might wonder why I didn’t come home today?” I asked. He looked at me with a severe face.

“Of course, you can call them. Do you want me to be the one who will talk to your family?” I immediately shook twice. Of course not! Maybe Lucky can answer, and what else will he think?

“I can handle it, Sir. It seems like you are kidnapping me, but of course, this is part of my job as your secretary.” I smiled at him at that.

“For the record, Ms. Santos. I didn’t kidnap you, okay?” he said.
