Our ride to Thane’s clan was a silent one.

Save for the sound of the horse galloping through the windy road and Thane’s pop up question every once in a while, it was completely quiet.

Logan has barely spoken to me.

I tried to start up a conversation earlier today with him, but he showed a complete lack of interest, which was very unusual.

He was still upset…most definitely.

But what was I supposed to do?

I couldn’t readily admit to him that Maverick was his father.
