Olivia’s POV—
I was already tired and exhausted with the pain and now this utter chaos left me, drained out of the last bit of energy I had. I sighed and closed my eyes leaning back on the pillows, Rose placed behind me.
“I am proud of you Olivia!” Amanda’s voice made me open my eyes and look at her with surprise. Was she really proud of me? But why?
Amanda sat on my bed beside me and held my hands in hers. April stood near my head giving me a faint smile of consolation. It was not very clear whether the consolation was for me or for herself! Or was it embarrassment? I didn’t bother much and remained quiet.
Amanda asked April, “April, tell Mrs Harper to plate the lunch here for all of us. I know Ryan was angry because I asked Rose to serve Olivia her lunch in the room.”

Olivia’s POV—My entire plan changed in a fraction of second! Now I have to live here with my husband Ryan till I find out about my Santa! I am safe till I recover completely! Olivia’s POV— Oh God! What is happening to me? His warm lips on my forehead was better than the painkillers. It helped me relax and forget the pain, even if it was for a second or two! But as soon as he retreated, the pain flooded again! I felt as if several bones in my body have crashed and the agony was spreading across my entire body, rising from my leg, shoulder and waist. Olivia’s POV—Everything was happening so fast that I was feeling suffocated. Dr Erik had examined me and said clearly that an implant was necessary, in my leg. He himself would do the surgery. He said if the surgery is done, I will heal in two months, else it will take more than six months to heal completely and even so, I might not heal properly!I closed my eyes and remembered that day in the school when I fell from the swing and broke my hand.
