Narrator’s POV—
The next day morning Luke came to visit Olivia and waited for her in the living room. Olivia dressed in a casual jeans and red t-shirt, she had a blank face devoid of any expression. She was no more sad or helpless but had a strange determination on her face!
She sat on the bed and whispered to her baby placing a hand on her belly, “Baby! Your mother will protect you with her life! Don’t worry! It is a matter of two more days and when your papa is back he will protect both of us. Hold on tight and don’t be afraid at all! Your mother will not let anything bad happen to you!”
Martha stood near her bedroom door and looked with a shocked expression seeing Olivia mumble to herself but didn’t say anything. She took a mental note that she will have to inform Caroline.
Within a few more minutes, Olivia stood up and left her room to go and meet Luke. She can’t wait anymore
