Chapter Seven (Part One)
“Am I being overdramatic?” Jordyn broke the silence first as she pulled her leggings and sports bra on, hoping they would be left alone, but not willing to bet on it.
“Hell no, she deserved it.” Jillian answered.
“I honestly don’t know what I would do if I saw another woman kiss Will.” Myra agreed as she reached for Jordyn’s hands, healing the knuckles that Jordyn didn’t even realize were bruised until then. “I don’t think I’d be able to hit as hard as you did, but I’d try.”
Jordyn smiled with the bottle pressed against her lips before taking a big drink. “I’m not sure what happened but Viv and Silver were fighting for control and I almost lost it.”

Walking into his brother’s hospital room only made the feeling worse. Josh was smiling at him but all Jayce could smell was death, mixed with Josh’s usual cedar wood smell. The smell was enough to make Jayce’s stomach turn.
