Chapter twelve

Weeks passed and I was avoiding the man, when he came over at the house I'd be in my room or make an excuse to leave but in that time Dylan and Leo had gotten closer and formed a bond that could last a lifetime.

I used my time to focus on what really mattered to me. Getting out of my father's claws. I refused to be caught up in his obsessively controlling world any longer. Twenty seven years of my life was enough, it truly was. I was meeting up with a few cosmetologists to pitch them my ideas.
