AUTHOR’S POV.

“I am sorry,” Kira bowed her head and then picked on her nails.

The last person she thought was going to save her was Daniel even though she also felt like he was going to save her.

Daniel had always been there for her. He had been a father to her and she admitted that she had been so stupid to have developed feelings for that man instead.

While she was locked in that cold, dark room, all she thought of was Daniel.

She knew that if things were okay between them, he would have been the first to have noticed that she was missing.

Now that she was out of their lives with the shit that she had done to Sapphire, he knew that the man would never forgive her or look for her.

She had accepted her fate— dying and probably rotting away in that room.

However, when she had opened her eyes to her ever familiar room in Daniel’s house, a sense of relief washed her.

Sapphire had not even cared about what she had done to her, still, she looked after her.

She fed her and kept looking out

I’m near my due date and we don’t want to deliver our baby there,” Sapphire smiled as she dropped her hand on her friend’s hand. “You really spent three months there! I thought it was just going to be a week or two vacation!” Hilda hollered. “Trust me when I say that I don’t even wanna return. It’s really fun there. Plus, we were not there all through the three months, we traveled to Rome, Amsterdam, and so on.” “Tsk, no wonder you don’t always pick up my calls.” “You nag too much, Hilda.
