Next day,Rose's point of view :Walking out of the room, I heard Daniel talking on the phone with someone.He looked quite serious."Patience is power my friend. Don't worry about it. NEXT MORNING Rose's point of view: Scene from the dining area,"So, do you have plans to surprise me yet again today?" He asked after taking a sip from his coffee.With a playful smile, I leaned a little towards him and replied "Do you want me to?" His eyes crinkled. Shaking his head in a clear no he replied back in a strict tone like a parent "I want you to go straight to college today. No more bunking" I simply nodded like an obedient kid.He turned to leave pressing a button on his wheelchair while I just watched him leaving.It was pointless to stalk him today. Clearly, he is on high alert mode ''Sighing, I was about to leave for college when the phone rang.It was Jessy."Hi. I was just about to leave for college. What's so urgent?" Rose asked her."College is cancelled today, Rose. We are all now leaving for the funeral" she said in low voice and a gasp escaped my mouth out of shock.Funeral?I froze on my spot."Whose funeral?" I asked her back in a barely audible voice.

Rose's point of view:The next morning when I woke up, I heard the sound of a running shower in the bathroom.I guess Daniel is back. I looked up at the wall clock. It was past 9 in the morning. I decided to go and make breakfast ready until then.AN HOUR LATER,"Hmm, nice coffee! " Daniel said after taking a sip of his coffee while I just smiled back in response. Picking up his phone, he started scrolling through his phone when I asked him straight away"Where did you go last night?"I observed his posture stiffened as soon as I asked him that. He just stared straight without blinking at first and then he slowly turned to look at me with a stoic expression that soon turned into a puzzled one in a blink.Meeting my eyes, he replied back with an expression like I said something absurd "Me? Rose's point of views: Later the night, Scene from the living room,I was waiting for Daniel to be back home.He is late again. When i glanced at the wall clock yet again, It was past 9 pm. Apparently, the three almost sleepless nights waiting for him to leave has taken a toll on me.Letting out another yawn, I thought furtherHe did not go out late nights nor did I find anything odd in the last four days. Of Course because of college life, I couldn't stalk him the whole day but as much as I could, I have only seen him going from home to the laboratory.
