SARA'S PLAN

It was in the evening, as usual they had to go for an evening walk.

Sarah had promised herself to act like she was angry with her sister. She had planned to ignore her for some good time but that stopped when she saw her running to them with the letter in her hands.

"Oh no! She's brought it with her. What if Araxie....." No, this can't happen."she took some steps backwards as she told Araxie to carry on.

"What are you doing sister. Don't forget we're doing this behind her back. Couldn't you find a way to hide it. God knows what would've happened if she saw this letter!"she was shouting at her like she did earlier.

"I'm sorry sister. I shouldn't have talked to you rudely earlier. I should've trusted you."

The only thing Sarah wanted was her sister's apology and now she has. "It's okay sister. You don't need to apologise. I can understand how disappointed you might've felt when I told you that I was writing to Trion. It's all my fault, I shouldn't have kept it from you. I should've told you about my new plan."

"No one is to blame, right?

Okay, tell me about your new plan."

"Well.... since Trion is a sea man it means he's always at the Sea.

We should start going there instead of walking over the bridge.

I guess there we'll be able to see him, befriend him and I'm certain that it would help Araxie develop feelings for him and eventually fall in love with him, don't you think?"

"Wow Sarah, this is really incredible! I'm sure it's going to work. You're so amazing sister. You deserve a high five surely." Aurora couldn't believe it. She was so amazed by Sarah's brilliant idea.

"Hold on, do you think Trion would send another letter after what happened? I'm afraid he might not send his bird over. Then how will this letter reach him."a worried expression was evident on her face."

"Don't worry when you've got Mastermind with you!

Did you notice that Trion has been sending wet letters. It only means that he's always in the Sea and if anything falls into the Sea, it's possible he would see it. Perhaps that's how he was able to get Marina's necklace."she explained looking thoughtful.

"You're right Sarah... but I don't understand your point so well. Could you please make me understand."

"Sister!!!! I meant to say that we should drop the letter into the Sea and wait for whatever would come."

Meanwhile when Araxie waited and couldn't see them coming, she made a U- turn. Luckily enough she came few minutes after they had talked everything they had to say.

"What happened. Why do the two of you look emotional. Is everything okay?"she was seeing tears in their eyes though they tried to hid them.

"Everything's fine. Our eyes are teary just because... "Sarah was still looking for what to lie when her sister spoke , "she was removing an insect from my eyes. I think hers teared up after seeing mine cry. It's so funny, isn't it?"

"Very funny... like seriously."she laughed at them.

"I think we should go to the Cliff this time. I'm sure it would be amazing staring at the sunset from there."Sarah thought it was time to put her plan in action.

For some reasons Araxie's heart began to beat so faster than before just because Sarah mentioned about the Cliff. Why was this word making her nervous! "Why am I feeling so restless."she wondered before her lips fell open, her eyes winking when a word escaped her mouth, "the Man!" She remembered she hasn't thanked him yet. "Am I this bad and terrible that I never thought of going back to check out for him."she thought. Thinking that it would be a good idea to go there, Araxie quickly agreed.

"I don't think it's a good idea to go there. I mean it's not safe there. Remember you once fell off from there. What if...."

"Nothing is going to happen I promise. We'll only have fun and come back, that's all."Sarah cut in though she wasn't sure why her sister was suddenly behaving like that. "Shall we?"Araxie asked with a grin.

Hestantily, Araxie took her first step when deep down she felt like something was stopping her. Her mind taken aback to the last time she fell off that Cliff, the next time she came back to her senses they were already at the same Cliff.

For some unknown reason she felt like jumping down the Sea.

"Are you crazy? No one has ever jumped into the Sea from this place. I mean it's very deep."Sarah who was shocked to hear that Araxie wanted to jump off into that Sea. She was sure it was something connected to Trion.

Meanwhile Aurora dropped the letter. She was certain that the calm wind would finally drop it into the Sea water.

She just hoped Trion could find it before it got soaked in water. Perhaps he would be happy again after what happened. He would be convinced that all that was in the first letter was a lie.

"Do you really want to jump off?"

"I was joking but you guys must not forget that I fell off this Cliff once and survived. You never know I can do it again."she chuckled.

"Hey, stop praising yourself this much because if I'm to remember correctly, you told us that you didn't know how you fell and what happened after that. You just felt like falling and just like that you found yourself on the shower."

"Yes I told you that but..."

"But what. I know you want to swallow back your own words and then cook up a big lie so we can just call you a magician and praise you, scream your name and what not. You know what Araxie, you don't deserve any praises concerning this matter. The only one that deserves all this is that man who saved you. He's the hero in fact. You're only alive because of him. Who knows what could've happened to you if he didn't show up when you needed it the most!"

"Let's go back home. I don't feel safe here anymore. It feels like something bad is going to happen and I can't seem to figure out what it is. We shouldn't wait for the sun to set."Aurora said since her job was done.

On their way back home Araxie seemed so lost as they strolled down the street that she accidentally walked into a stop sign.

"Are you okay dear?"they asked but Araxie said nothing but to nod.

"Liar. You almost walked into this stop sign and you call this being fine! I've been noticing your bothered face ever since I mentioned about the other incident. I can see you're seriously thinking about that man, aren't you?"Sarah who liked troubling her like nothing pointed.

She always found pleasure in troubling her as she hoped that maybe someday Araxie would adopt her stubborn nature and change gradually.

"Watch where you're going please. I don't want to see you with some marks and scratches on your pretty face."Aurora cautioned.

"Thank you dear. At least I have a calm friend unlike Sarah who's so troublesome!"

"I'm very sorry if my words really hurt you this much. You know I only wanted to trouble you a little bit but not to make you cry like this. I'm sorry dear."Sarah quickly apologized when she noticed some tears in Araxie's eyes.

"No Sarah. Don't apologise as you haven't done anything wrong. You only stated the truth. I think I just learned a lesson today and I would like to say thank you for that."

"I'm getting confused. Why are you crying if I didn't hurt you then."

Seeing Sarah becoming inquisitive, Araxie decided to tell her.

"I'm feeling bad that I didn't see the man. I had agreed to come along with you because I thought I would find him there and perhaps thank him since I didn't get that chance last time. You were right, I don't deserve any of the praises and I.... I was busy there praising myself before you. I'm so bad."

"Hey Miss drama queen, would you stop crying. I promise that we'll help you out. And before you know it, you'll be in love with him!" Talking a lot can ruin everything sometimes.

Sarah almost exposed her plan in front of Araxie. The only thing that saved them was that Araxie had no idea that the one that saved her was the same man who was sending her letters.

Yes, Sarah was troublesome and funny but she couldn't bare seeing tears in Araxie's eyes as it would make her brain go blank, her heart race so faster and her blood clot!

"Oh really?"

"Yes dear. We'll take you to that man once we've found a clue about his whereabouts."

"Thank you so much."

Wait! Was Araxie in love with that man or she only wanted to thank him?

"Give us a broad smile then."

Reaching home, Araxie couldn't believe her eyes while wondering what could've happened suddenly. "So many guests!"she breathed inwardly before running to the house through the back door.

"Thank God you're back on time otherwise..."Casey sighed.

"Otherwise..?" There was a worried expression on Araxie's face. She was sure she didn't do anything wrong that day and now her sister was saying her otherwises to her!

She knew Casey never cared for her at all though she tried to keep on good terms with her.

"Something is fishy. Why would she call me dear? I hope they're not planning to punish me in front of those people."she thought.

"What are you thinking sister."Casey asked but Araxie got it as the biggest shock of her life.

Being emotional driven, Araxie quickly grabbed ahold of her sister and pulled her close.

Later she pulled off when she realized she was embracing Casey and she might be feeling suffocated by her behaviors.

Taking a step backwards while staring at her without blinking, Araxie placed a hand over her mouth, that had slowly dropped open. She was lost for words. She couldn't believe what she just heard.

The last time Casey called her 'sister', she couldn't remember but it was when their father was still alive.

"What did you just call me?"she wanted to hear it again. Only God knew how long she had been waiting for that moment, when Casey would finally accept her as her younger sister.

She wanted to hear her say it again, maybe she could believe her ears afterwards.

"I said sister. Don't tell me you didn't like it."she repeated.

Although Araxie was emotional driven, she was able to tell that something was definitely strange, judging by her sister's sudden change.

They say that a person can change, but it does only gradually. It can't happen instantly.

"What is she up to now?" But whatever it was, she was loving it because her sister finally addressed her as 'sister', the thing that she had been yearning to hear ever since their dad's demise. She couldn't believe it was echoing through her ears just like a Christmas song.

"Thank you so much Casey. You don't know how happy you've made me this evening. I'm very happy. I don't care about what you've done to me in the past or what, all I needed was to finally get a place in your heart and it's like my prayers have been answered so quickly. I can't believe my ears. Tonight I feel I'm the happiest girl in the whole universe. May heavens keep this love growing every single day."

"Hey, you don't have to thank me for anything. Sisters don't act formal with each other. Anyway go and freshen up. Don't forget to put on a nice presentable dress."
