Addison’s POV

Damon was utterly shocked by what I had just said. It was like he couldn't accept the fact that it was my decision. Damon seemed to sigh and said, "No."

I frowned at his one-word words and nothing else. I looked at him questioningly. I didn't understand what he wanted. Somehow, it was hard to understand what this man wanted. "No, what?" I asked him for an explanation. "After all, all you've done is torture me. You find out for yourself, and I don't care about you anymore. If you still don't let me go, maybe I should commit suicide in front of you."

Suddenly, Damon's head snapped up, looking at me sharply. "Addison, stop saying things like that. Your jokes are too horrible, and I don't like them."
