Trust

ATHENA’S POV

It was closing hour already, and Daniel led me outside.

“Your driver is here, Athena. But we have somewhere to go to first, before you go home. So, we’re going to walk really fast before he sees us. You have to trust me, in order for that to happen.” Daniel spoke to me.

Although, what he asked was quite tasking. To walk fast while holding his hands when blind was something difficult to do, a trust which was difficult to give out, but the desire to see was more than being skeptical about trusting him on leading me without having to fall.

“Alright, let’s do this.” I urged, and pursed my lips, hoping that I wasn’t going to fall so hard, and regret it.

Daniel and I walked fast, and it was quite fun to walk fast like I could see. I let out a chuckle, and another, excited at how good it made me feel. Daniel also joined me in laughing until he told me to slow down.

“I guess we’ve passed by my driver.” I said, with a smile.

“Yes, we have. Now, we can freely walk.”
