“I have had nightmares too, not once but twice” Lucy said and I could see it very clearly that Lucy was lying, this was her chance ti finally put me in more trouble.
“What do you mean nightmares, I am asking why I am being accused of using back magic when I don’t even have access to my inner wolf.” I said to them making Isabelle angry,I knew she wasn’t expecting that it won’t work out.
“You still don’t have access to your inner wolf?” Kade asked for the first since I joined the table, or should I say for the first time since I was thrown out of their palace.
“Isn’t it obvious that I never got it back,” I teased before rolling my eyes at him and for the first time my gaze fell on Luther who had a worried look on his face.
“It can never be true, Amelia isn’t that kind of person.” Luther said and just as he uttered those words he smiled at me like he was trying to reassure me but I looked away with guilt.
“I said the same thing son, Amelia can never do something like that so you should at least trust in her and believe your nightmares must be because of another reason, maybe someone else is trying to get back at you.” Alpha Damien said with a relaxed grin.
“It true, I know it’s Amelia…I am very sure of it!!! She is trying to get back at e because she would soon be the queen and I took her mate from her but I am not easily fazed bitch!!” Isabelle yelled and Alpha Rozan had to pull her back to her seat and caution her while I just sat there very confident and a wide grin plastered on my face, I might not have done something so bad as she claimed but I am happy that she feels tormented , I am happy that she finally sees e as a threat to her and finds me threatening.
“Are you sure you were seeing things or you are just seeing things because you are scared of what I might do to you or…you think I want to harm you which I don’t really give a darn about any of that.” I said very slowly and even thought Alpha Damien wasn’t saying anything I could see a small smile sneak up on his face, he clearly must be expecting me to say this things to the and that’s why he called for the meeting.
“Amelia!! Would you stop saying things like that, for goodness sake you two were sisters.” Alpha Rozan said and even though I cared so much about him I still couldn’t stop myself from scoffing at his ridiculous he was to call us sisters when I wasn’t even his blood.
“We aren’t even related, you know that DAD!” I exclaimed and made sure to exaggerate the last part before looking away.
“But I took you two as sisters and you both ruined it by fighting each other for a man who clearly only loved Isabelle.” Alpha Rozan said as I tried to hold in the anger in me.
“You think I even got the chance to fight for what was mine.” I said bitterly and Alpha Damien could sense that I wasn’t okay with what they just said and that made him stood up with a fierce gaze at Alpha Rozan.
“You both can’t walk in here and cause trouble or try to trouble my wife.” Alpha Damien warned.
“Your wife is a witch and that’s the truth.” Kade said unaware of what he just did and just as I expected Alpha Damien began to chuckle as he looked around.
“You think I like you or plan to be in a good terms with you after what you did?” Alpha Damien questioned with a very gentle voice.
“What did I do?” Kade asked a bit too confident about the questions.
“You fucker!!! You hurted my wife and I know if it hadn’t been for that I oulfny have met her but she is still my wife so that makes it very clear to you that I won’t tolerate bad words at my wife like calling her a witch.” Alpha Damien said and that made me happy but as I turned my head t the other direction I saw Luther looking sad. I knew he really wanted to take care of me and support me but couldn’t do it.
“You came to the wrong person with the kind of rubbish you just said so I would be able to get into more issues in this palace.” I said one last time before standing up to leave but Alpha Damien held my hands before I could do anything.
“Don’t leave like that, they need to promise not to ever come her to disturb you.” Alpha Damien said and that made me very happy.
“I am being serious alpha Damien.” Isabelle said to Damien with a pleading glare as she looked at me and then Lucy from time to time.
“I don’t care Isabelle, Amelia is mine and I kno make her more than anyone else’s so you can’t change te way I see her.” Alpha Damien said and with that he stood up and held my hands, walking me out of the dining hall clearly saying the breakfast had ended before it even began.
“Alpha Damien.” I muttered but he continued to walk away while pulling me with himself down the hallway.
“What?” He questioned and stopped making me also stop too.
“Why are you supporting me even though you aren’t sure I am right or if they are saying the truth?” I asked Alpha Damien who seemed to have spaced out immediately.
“Because, because I love you..” he said making me speechless.
“And you don’t have to love me back.”he added before walking away and I felt my hand shaking ith doubt all over again. Alpha Damien might be ruthless but he never lies about his words.
