19 || Only Resolve

Shane shifted his gaze from Lahaina to Karen. Her unmoving stare at Lilian let him have a rough idea, Karen was reading too much between the lines.

He tried to resolve her mind, "Granny, it's not as Lahaina is saying. Lilian can't do wrong to you. She knows very well how much you mean to me."

But it turned out to be a futile attempt as Karen's expression didn't change. Nor did it get away from Lilian's face.

Leaving that matter to resolve later, Clarke sat beside Karen, "Mom, if anyone has intentionally done this no matter whoever the person is, can't get away with it. But we will talk about this later. Mom, you please don't take stress now."

"Right." Shane said after him, "You have to get better first. Everything comes after that."

None said otherwise as they were well aware that the matter wasn't tried to be ignored here but the priority was decided to go for. And it was going to be handled accordingly.

"Everyone please go outside. Granny needs rest." Willow supported them imme
