Damien POV
I paced round the small space of the police office. The search was still on. It's taking so damn long and I'm growing impatient by the minute. Jay has been missing since last night.
The sight of Bethany coming into the small space with coffee in her hand made me sigh. She met me on the way here and asked me what was going on. I didn't tell her but she followed me here like a little bug and eventually, she found out and she's been here with me since last night.
"Have coffee Damien. It'll ease you"
"Do I look like I want to be eased? My wife is missing!" I half yell and she winced.
"Relax. She's beinf looked for. Just have coffee and don't be stubborn" she shoved the cup into my hand and I glared at her but when the caffeine smell hit my nose, it kind of calmed me so I take a gulp.

The tiny woman in front of me collected my bag from me even though I told her I could manage. She looked at my tummy and then smiled before walking away. I followed her up the stairs to the room I'll be staying in for the next few days."Where is Chloe?" I asked. I know her to be Becky.
