The court room was filled already as it was always on meeting date. The members of the council had filled up the entire place. However, the atmosphere was not as it has always been. There were no unnecessary murmurs or chatters. What had happened the previous time was enough reason for everyone to learn to keep their mouths shut. Derek found himself breathing very heavily. His feet did not stop moving back. His hands clutched his head . He was beginning to pant. It was very obvious right now. Two more days had passed like a blink of an eye. The day that everything was meant to go down had finally come. It was either Ruckus went down or his father , the alpha king went down, whichever the case may be, one of them will have to go down. The first day of the full moon had finally arrived. However, they still had so many hours to go through before it was night. Within those hours, there would be no limit to the things that could happen. Ruckus lay on his bed with his eyes shut. Hours passed like they were seconds. In what would be called a jiffy, the night had fallen. It felt like an eclipse. Through the window of Sophia's room, the rays of the full moon could make their way to her eyes. She had purposely left it open to feel the warmth that came from it. The brightness of the moon was very luring. She lay on her bed with every part of her body well covered under the duvet except her face. Her eyes were shut and she was asleep. Not totally asleep but partly conscious of what was going on around her. Soon enough, the warmth of the duvet began to drive her into real sleep.
