Chapter Forty-one

Time had passed already deep into the night. From the house of the healer, one could hear the sounds of crows. Pure evidence that a new day had begun. But then, Derek was yet to leave the side of Sophia. The ease at which he remained by her see was very convincing that he was in safe hands. He had been taught in the earlier days of his life to get hold of an anchor. An anchor to help him to always be in control when he was about to get off the radar. Sophia could be that one person that might be able to fill the role of that anchor for him. Or perhaps, go to a further extent by being the Luna that he had been searching for the whole time.
