Sophia turned from side to side on the bed. The comfort the bed had always offered to her seemed to have gone right now. Gone to a place she could not find or go to. Through the night, her thoughts could not stop spiraling at what would be the outcome of the session in court. By the end of the day, she would know her fate. What will become of me? The court room was filled already as it was always on meeting date. The members of the council had filled up the entire place. However, the atmosphere was not as it has always been. There were no unnecessary murmurs or chatters. What had happened the previous time was enough reason for everyone to learn to keep their mouths shut. No one would dare talk or mutter any word that would be against the alpha king. Eyes kept on flashing in the direction of both possible entrances and exits. Fear was the language of the day.
