Thorn's pov.“Taloria? Is that really you?” I asked with my heart pounding inside my chest.“No.. it's me, the great witch Ginger Carmine.” She said in a deep voice and my eyes widened in shock and disbelief. She suddenly burst out laughing and threw her arms around me.“It's me big brother!” She hugged me tight and I immediately hugged her back. I was overly excited that I had finally gotten my sister back. The joy was out of this world. The only thing on my mind as I hugged her was everything that she had been put through.Genevieve smiled at us, wiping off the tears that were threatening to fall from her eyes. CHAPTER 121Genevieve's pov.Sweat bands already formed around my face and were dripping down to my dress. I gulped down hard, concentrating on the rubble, something seemed to be moving inside it but we didn't know what it was. Intuitively, I pushed Taloria behind me while Thorn and I stared with wide eyes, waiting for whatever or whoever that was in there to come out. All of a sudden, a gecko emerged from the pile of rubble, making its way into the forest. We were instantly relieved, glad that it wasn't any kind of danger. CHAPTER 123Thorn's pov.I watched Genevieve in her unconscious state, thinking about what to tell her as soon as she wakes up. CHAPTER 124Genevieve's pov.Thorn agreeing to follow me back to my pack has to be one of the best things I've heard in a really long time. I was ecstatic and couldn't wait to go back with him. CHAPTER 125Genevieve's pov.“Thorn!! Thorn!!” Taloria's piercing screams filled the air. I turned to find her vigorously shaking her brother who was lying lifeless on the floor already. I looked at Jamie again, to make sure that he was dead for good this time around. He lay there with the dagger in him, bleeding from his stabs, mouth and nose. There was absolutely no chance for his survival and I was relieved.He had tormented me for a really long time and I wasn't going to let him get away with it. After a lot of hesitation, they finally moved out of the way and we continued our journey into the pack. I would occasionally look back at Thorn and check to see if he was still breathing.
