Chapter 5: The Consultation

Third Person POV

Klaus left the pigsty he has as a home at a brisk pace. He was already late, as usual. Drew couldn't accompany him because he had to work and no matter how much he insisted, the Omega forced him to go to work, arguing that he had already missed the day before and didn't want to cause him problems.

In the end, the brown-haired alpha accepted and had to go to work. He didn't want to leave his Jammie alone but if he didn't work there was no money and without money, there was no food and no rent for them both. 

The pink-hair boy took the bus and traveled for about half an hour to get to the clinic. Once he got off he approached the clinic but stopped at the entrance when he smelled a scent that left him paralyzed. He could swear that never in his sad life had he ever smelled a better aroma than "Mint and coffee", a combination that made his hair stand on end. He felt, from one moment to the next, so calm with that aroma that he did not hesitate to inhale more to fill his lungs with it.

He felt in the clouds, the aroma made him feel like on an autumn day, fresh, very fresh, with a calm breeze where he is drinking a cup of steaming coffee. The best feeling he has ever had. 

When the owner of his fantasies turned around. Klaus could have sworn he was in paradise next to the most beautiful being her little eyes had ever seen.

The Alpha was beautiful. Jet hair, feline eyes as black as night, a small, upturned nose with thin, pink lips, and his skin as white as snow. He looked like porcelain, someone so fragile yet manly. A little taller than him. Klaus swore he was in front of a Greek god or that he had died and was in heaven. 

His Omega, upon seeing such a divine being, did not hesitate to beg his human for more closeness, asking him to fill himself more with such a wonderful scent. That he would come closer and sink his face into that milky neck and thus satisfy himself with the scent that the Alpha was giving off. 

"It's him." Said Klaus’ omega.

"It's our Alpha Mochi." 

"I want him for myself." 

Like the Alpha, the Omega had the same thoughts. But his foolish humans didn't know what his words meant, so they just ignored them. 

The Alpha approached the Omega and inhaling more of the boy's sweet scent extended his hand to introduce himself and said. 

“Norman Cross, nice to meet you” Said the alpha.

“I’m Klaus Oakluster.” Answered the omega shyly.

The Alpha was fascinated to hear the little boy's tender voice in front of him. And the Omega wasn't that far away, he felt a shiver run down his spine as he listened to such a manly and penetrating voice. 

They had been smitten with each other without really knowing it. 

A few steps away from them, two pairs of eyes watched them with utter tenderness at Alpha and Omega's reactions to seeing each other and introducing themselves. They noticed that gleam in both of their eyes as they felt and saw each other close. Definitely mother moon always created excellent bonds. 

“Sorry to interrupt you, really. But we need to get started with the procedure" the Beta spoke very apologetically. 

She really didn't want to be the one to ruin such a beautiful moment, but she had no choice. The doctor was waiting for them and they had to enter the office. 

Both Omega and Alpha, coming out of their reverie, felt their cheeks burning with the shame that began to fill their bodies. They didn't know what was happening to them, but they wanted to keep seeing each other and feel close for a strange reason. 

“Sure, let's go through” the Alpha cleared his throat to try to diminish a little the heat in his cheeks.

“This way please” The Beta directed them to the office and left them with the doctor. 

The Omega didn't say a word. He was still processing what happened a few moments ago. He felt like his cheeks were going to explode at any moment because of how red they were. 

“Good morning. Please come forward, I am Patrick Rohn, I will be your doctor throughout the procedure. Unless you decide to change doctors, I will be at your service.” The doctor introduced himself.

The doctor was unaware of the tense atmosphere between Omega and Alpha. So he didn't mind their silence. 

“Please take a seat” The doctor asked. 

They both sat down in front of the doctor. 

“Excuse my rudeness. I'm Norman Cross and Mr...” Said the alpha.

“Klaus Oakluster. Nice to meet you, Dr. Rohn" the Omega finally spoke. 

He didn't know why he was so nervous if that same doctor treated him the day before. 

Starting to explain, the Doctor said: “Nice to meet you. Well, I informed them that I was reviewing sr. Oakluster's file and I realized that he has many low defenses and that can cause several complications for the procedure, but being Omega and Alpha it may not affect too much. If sr. Oakluster would have been a Beta it is almost impossible for the procedure to work. So it is totally up to you to decide whether to go ahead with the procedure or postpone it until you are ready for the insemination.”

Thinking about it sounds better than saying it or hearing it out loud. That sounds awful, though the pink-hair boy. 

“Doctor. Sorry for the inconvenience but do you think you can give us a few minutes to discuss it?” Norman spoke. 

He wanted to be alone with the Omega, for some reason he hated another Alpha being in the same place as the Omega, so he got a little grumpy and overprotective. 

“Sure. Take as much time as you like, I'll be outside waiting for your response.” Said the doctor.

Giving them a last look, the doctor left the office and left both of them inside, increasing the nerves of both Alpha and Omega. 

“Klaus? Are you all right?” Spoke the Alpha when he saw the boy so nervous. 

He didn't want to force him into anything. But he was a little worried that he would regret it. 

“Huh?” Said the Omega, looking up from his chubby little hands. Klaus had been looking down since he entered the office. 

“Are you all right?” Norman asked again. 

“Yes, I'm sorry. It's just, I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe I'm too nervous about all this. It's the first time I've been in a situation like this and I don't really know what to do. 

“Relax. Look, I know this is weird and maybe you're a little scared. But if you're not completely sure, I won't force you to do anything, okay?” The Alpha tried to be as nice as possible. 

“NO!” Shouted the pink-hair boy. Scaring the Alpha a little bit: “I mean, I do want to do this. Look, mister Cross… This is embarrassing, but I really need the money. I'm sorry if I'm too blunt, but it's too urgent for me to back out. I swear I will guard your son with my life if possible. I know I'm jumping the gun a little, but I can't miss this opportunity. I will carry you and your wife's child in my womb. But please help me, Mr. Cross, I beg you.”

Klaus was on the verge of tears. He was desperate and when he heard Mr. Cross tell him that he would not force him, all his senses were activated and reacted like a small alert warning him not to be stupid and speak fast. 

On the other hand, the Alpha was dumbfounded at the little Omega's words. He didn't think he would need the money that much and for a small second, he felt bad to hear him say that. He had forgotten that it wasn't free, that it had a price. But as mentioned before, Norman doesn't judge people by their economic conditions and something was screaming at him to help that little Omega who had captivated him from the first moment. 

Deciding to clarify the situation, Norman said: “Klaus. Reassuring Yes, I am more grateful to you for agreeing to do all this. You don't know how happy I am to know that you will carry my little puppy. So if you feel ready. We can do the procedure now. I will help the pregnancy go smoothly, he is my son after all. But I want your well-being too.”

Nodding his little head, the Omega said: "And your wife agrees? Why isn't she with you?”

It pained the Omega to say the word "wife" he felt bad all of a sudden to think that this beautiful Alpha already had a partner, although he didn't feel any scent of someone else on him. She could be a Beta, couldn't she?

The Alpha was a little amused by what little Omega said, why did Klaus think he had a mate? 

“Klaus” Norman called his attention: “I don't have a partner. I'm single, I want a child to be mine. But I don't have a partner.”

And those words were enough for the Omega to raise his eyes to the Alpha and smile at him with that tender smile where his little eyes are hidden in half-moons. He felt his wolf jump with happiness when he heard the Alpha say he was single.

The Alpha thought he had seen the best smile in the world. 

That little Omega was going to drive him crazy at any moment. 

But he was willing to accept that craziness if it came from that tender and sexy Omega.
