Chapter 3: Flustered

Third Person POV

“I don't have a partner, it's just me. I want to have a baby but I don't want a partner. I think I don't have to explain about that, so please explain to me everything about the procedure to follow” Asked Norman seriously.

Those present were stunned by the words of the blond and Norman had no tact to speak, he just said what he felt and that was it.

But that didn't take away the Beta's enthusiasm, she was happy? Of course, she was happy because possibly the cute Omega could be chosen faster than she thought. 

“Well, for starters, I have to show her a folder with all the people taking the tests and enter them in the list. To do this, the people applying to get on the list must undergo medical tests, which will help us rule out any disease in their system and help them advance their health if necessary.  Normally it is Betas women who come to apply to join the list. The Omegas are well known for being 100% fertile and don't like to get into these things too much. But curiously now an Omega has come to apply to join the list. This brings us to the following. When a person is interested in renting or buying a womb for surrogacy, whatever they like to call it. We give you a folder with all the applicants' information so that the couple, in this case, you, can choose the person who will carry the baby. You can choose the person who will carry your offspring” Said the Beta, while she took out a portfolio from her desk and handed it to the Alpha. 

"It lists all the physical characteristics, personal details so you can contact them, and a photograph of each applicant. So you can choose the right person. At the moment there are only 26 applicants. 25 female Betas and 1 male Omega. He is the one I told you that came now. When the applicant decides on a person, we contact the chosen one and schedule an appointment, so that the ‘buyer’ and the one who will rent her womb, decide the day of the insemination and among other things, such as the price of the rent.” Added the beta.

The Beta said all this while a certain jet-black Alpha had the portfolio in hand and curiously had not turned the page to see the other applicants. He kept his eyes fixed on the first one who came out among them all. 

Because Vera took the picture of Klaus at the top of the list. If her boss found out that, he'd kill her or fire her, one of two things, and she doesn't even want to find out which of the two she'd get. You must respect the order of applicants, by enrollment and although each "buyer" ultimately chooses the one that best suits him/her. They should always be placed in order of registration. 

But she just wanted to give a hand to the beautiful Omega. Don't judge her, she had a crush on the chubby-cheeked one. Yes we know she's Beta but, she thought he was so adorable that if it wasn't for the accompanying Alpha not taking his eyes off her she would have squeezed his squirrel cheeks right then and there. 

Moving on to Norman. The Alpha was more than fascinated with the beautiful features of the boy he saw in that photographer. He was simply beautiful, the right one to carry his child without a doubt. But something caught the Alpha's attention too much, apart from how beautiful the Omega was, of course. According to the Omega's data, he was underweight, malnourished, close to anemia. Almost to the bone practically, in the photo, it didn't show much. But I was curious to see what the Omega looks like in person. 

Besides, he says he lives in a place that, if I remember correctly, is in the most remote part of Los Angeles City. A place he doesn't even want to know. Klaus is 23 years old, his pink hair makes him look adorable. And that's just from a picture of him, he definitely has the right candidate to take his cute kids. 

"Cute? Kids? Are you already smitten, you silly human?" Asked his alpha.

That was his Alpha. Yes, he loved humiliating him and always taking him to the task.

"Shut up will you?" Norman answered him 

"Well, I don't deny he's very cute, and look how cute he looks. He looks like cotton candy." 

His wolf was absolutely right. Omega did look like cotton candy and... Oh wow, in the information it says that the scent of the Omega is cotton candy and vanilla. Norman is not a fan of sweet things but for some strange reason, ever since he was a little boy, he always loved to eat cotton candy and spread his cookies with vanilla ice cream. Ah, just a treat. 

Besides, it says he's single. Single!. Well, Norman, he didn't know what was happening to him, but that cute Omega caught his attention. 

He was so engrossed in looking at the pink-haired man's picture that he didn't notice that two eyes were on him. One of pure mockery and the other of pure excitement to see that his plan worked. 

“So, brother, have you made up your mind?” Elton asked still with a trace of mockery.

The older Alpha ignored his friend's intentions, to answer: “I want to rent this Omega's belly. He is fit enough to carry my puppy” Norman was more than sure of his decision. 

Squealing with delight, the Beta replied: “Sure, when would you like us to schedule an appointment with the applicant?”

“Tomorrow" Replied the Alpha. 

“Are you sure? You didn't even turn the next pages of the folder…” Elton pointed.

“I am more than sure Elton. This Omega is the right one” The Alpha spoke with great certainty. 

“He will be. I will call him and notify the applicant. Don't worry, I will take care of the rest. I hope you are satisfied with your choice” Said the beta woman. 

“More than satisfied” Said the Alpha quietly, but audible enough for those present. 

He did not look away from the picture of the tremendous Angel he was looking at. 

Elton raised his eyebrows in surprise and curiosity to see the reactions and the answers his friend gave to the decision he made and how he saw the picture of the chosen one. Although he was on one side of the older Alpha. Elton could not see well the picture of the person chosen by his friend. 

“Well, if that's all. I think we are leaving, we still have to go back to the office. Right Norman?” Elton asked.

“Huh? Yes, sure, it's time to go. Thank you very much for the information. I'll come tomorrow to talk about the rest” He spoke, reluctantly handing the briefcase to the Beta. 

He wanted to keep looking at the picture of the cute Omega. What the hell was happening to him? He doesn't know and he doesn't want to find out either. 

“Sure, I'll be waiting for him. Have a happy day” The Beta spoke: “Take care Elton and say hi to cute Sven.”

“I will, see you soon Vera.” Said Elton.

With nothing more to say. Both Alphas set off on their way to their jobs. But the older Alpha was lost in thought. Rather a little pink-haired ball of hair occupied his thoughts. He thought he didn't want a mate, just a baby. But, that beautiful Omega was making him change his mind, without even knowing him yet.

Norman Cross was lost.
