Chapter 4: Overwhelmed By Your Scent

Klaus’ POV

I arrived at my apartment with Drew. The two of us lived together, Drew's parents passed away in an accident when he was younger. So let's just say I took care of him. He helped me with all the expenses too, but it wasn't always enough. We didn't finish school. We barely finished high school. But because we both managed to get a full scholarship, otherwise we wouldn't even have that. 

I wanted Drew to at least study for a degree. But our situation was complicated. I wouldn't let him get involved in the debts my parents left me. I didn't see it as fair, so I tried as best I could to keep him from knowing more than he already did about the whole mess. 

When we walked in, the first thing I did was plop down on the small two-piece couch we had, the only one we had, and turned on the TV. Small as everything in this house, my little pigsty is like that. Too small for both of us, but it's all we could afford. There is only one bed, which to top it off is for one person, I sleep with Drew clearly, and it's comfortable. 

We are like brothers he takes good care of me. When he or I are in heat; our wolves just look out for each other. They see each other as family, brothers, and Drew’s wolf has never tried to make a pass at me, in fact, and he protects me with his scent and calms me down too much. His smell of Drews and chocolate always helps me and makes me hungry. Don't blame me Drew's smell feels like a winter afternoon, under the rainy and cold weather, where you can have a cup of hot chocolate with chocolate chip Drews. Definitely a good combination. 

My Drew boy (that's what I call him) came over to me and lifted my legs a bit to sit and place them on top of his. We started watching TV. I know he was dying to ask me more questions about this afternoon and I don't blame him I know he still feels insecure about my decision, he is very overprotective of me. I have already told him that there is no need for so much protection but he always says that you never know what crazy person might come out in front of me and do any kind of barbarities, so I just let it be. 

“Come on. Let it go” I tell him, not taking my eyes off the TV. 

“What's that?” He says, pretending to be oblivious. 

My Drew boy doesn't know how to pretend, let alone lie. I know him too well. 

“Drew” I warn him.

“Well, Klaus, what the f**k do you want me to tell you? You're already in this, aren't you? Whatever I want to say to you, it won't do any good. Do whatever you want. My opinion never counts in this goddamn dump.”

Ok. I didn't expect that, I knew he was frustrated with what I'm doing, but not that frustrated. He even called me by my name! This is serious, but what am I supposed to do? He doesn't know that the criminals are giving me a time limit or they will hurt him and I don't want to put him in any more danger than we are already in. I just hope they call me soon and tell me that I already have someone to rent my womb. 

And as if you heard me, the only cell phone we have in this pigsty. It rings, it's an unknown number. I don't think twice and answer it. 

= Hello = 

= Good evening. Sorry about the hour. Is Klaus Oakluster here? = 

= Yes, it's me. Who is this? Can I get you anything? = 

= We're talking about the "Special" clinic, this is Vera Henson, you were here this afternoon asking for information = 

= That's right. Can you tell me what the reason for the call is? =

= Sir. Oakluster, we found a womb buyer for you. Someone has chosen you to rent your womb = 

= Oh my moon goddess… Are you serious? = 

Klaus was truly shocked. He had been told that it was difficult for people to get to rent a womb and he had just gone that afternoon to ask for information and he had already been chosen. This must be the best day of his life. He was happy, he was finally going to be able to get out of all his debts. 

= That's right. The person who wants to rent asked for an appointment for tomorrow. Are you available at 10:00 a.m.? =

I had work to do, but I would ask for permission. This was extremely important and there was no way I was going to let the buyer go. 

= Of course I'll be there. Don't worry, Miss = 

= Fine, I’ll confirm the appointment. Have a nice evening, sir. Oakluster. We'll be waiting for you. = 

And without further ado, I cut the call short.  I was in shock; I couldn't believe how fast they had asked to rent my belly. For a moment I thought they weren't even going to call me and I would have to sell myself in a sleazy bar and the worst thing is that in one where those assholes who harassed me were the owners. Thanks to the moon goddess and the couple who chose me. I already wanted to meet them and thank them in person. 

“Drew… come here please” I called my best friend and brother. 

“What?” He spoke to me reluctantly. 

“Are you still upset?” I made a very pronounced pout. Which I knew would make him change from that angry expression he had on his bunny face to one of pure tenderness. 

“No Jammie. Now tell me, what's wrong?”

“I got a call from the clinic. And guess who they called because they already requested him from the list!?” I said, more than excited. 

“Are you serious? You're not playing a bad joke on me, aren’t you?”

“Of course not Drew. It's totally true.”

We were almost jumping up and down with excitement. Don't misunderstand, we were doing it because we knew we could have enough money to get out of this misery and who knows, even get a better place to live. That's what got us excited, but deep down I knew that not everything was going to turn out well from this decision I made. 

After a while, we ate what little there was in the kitchen. Pure instant ramen. I knew I had to start improving my diet. But without enough money, it's hard for me. Hopefully tomorrow I can buy enough food with what we've been saving. This ramen thing is making me a little tired already. 

When we finished eating, we went to sleep. We didn't take a shower because the water in the building is cut off at 5:00 pm and as you can imagine that happens every day. So we can only shower once a day. It is extremely stressful living in this dump. 

I just hope tomorrow will be a better day and I can meet the people who will change my life.

Norman’s POV

When morning came, I was feeling totally impatient. I already wanted to meet cute Pudding (that's how my wolf and I nicknamed him) and I wanted to know if he was willing to give his womb for rent. I know it still sounds bad, but there's no nice way to say you're going to buy someone's belly to carry your child. 

I got up with all the pep in the world. I showered and got dressed in one of my best outfits, I like the way black looks with my hair, not that I'm self-centered or anything. Believe me, I don't always care about my appearance, but I wanted to make a good impression on the pink-haired boy. When I finally finished getting ready I left my house. Well, it was a mansion, it was too huge for just me, but hopefully, that will be over soon.

I didn't want to eat breakfast, I felt that if anything got to my stomach I might throw it up from the nerves I felt. When I arrived at the clinic my best friend was already there waiting for me and having a very nice talk with the redhead Beta, what was her name? I can’t remember… Ah! yes, Vera! I'm bad at remembering names. I came and when they saw me they greeted me like no, we met yesterday.

“Norman. How did you wake up?” Elton asked me.

“A little nervous actually. I hope everything goes well.”

“It will, my friend, if the boy doesn't accept, we can look for someone else” Elton wanted to encourage the alpha man, but he only managed to make him look at him with a bad face. 

“I don't think I can choose anyone else, I don't know...”

Then came a smell to my nostrils that cut off the words and the air in my lungs. A smell that left me totally cut off from the world and the rest of the people around me. Turning around slowly to look for the cause of such an exquisite aroma, I saw him. 

The most beautiful being my eyes had ever seen on the face of the earth. 

A boy with chubby cheeks, pink hair. Short in stature, maybe an inch shorter than me. Slim, narrow waist, his legs, and thighs well contoured. Simply a marvel of a guy, indeed it came to my mind that he could be the eighth wonder of the world. 

But what definitely caught my attention was his scent "Cotton candy and vanilla" I was enraptured by his presence, by his delicious scent, everything about him screamed how beautiful, tender and sexy he was. How can someone be so tender and sexy at the same time? Only that little Omega boy could be how extremely sexy and tender. 

My wolf was scratching inside me at the presence of little Omega. I wanted to get close and smell the scent on his neck. To hug him and never let go. 

"It's him." Said my alpha excited.

"It's our Omega." I respond.

"It's the cutest omega ever!" Cried my wolf. 

I didn't know what he meant by all that, but one thing I did agree on and that, was that I wanted that Omega for myself.
