RORY’S POV

“I can not wait to have you all to my self.” He said rubbing both palms together and starring at me with what looked like a starved look.

I was not sure of how to reply him or perhaps I simply forgot how to use my tongue when Todd burst in to a round of chuckles.

“Calm down, Candy. I won’t bite, you should see your face.” He teased.

I rolled my eyes and said nothing because my tongue was still not sure of how to move but my mind had a lot of thoughts going on there.

The top thought was, what is wrong with him? How can he say things like this so easily?

“So……” Todd said running his fingers through his hair and standing poses before me.

I was seated on the bed and so my eyes were focused on directly on him, my teacher.

“How do you feel about our final class?” He asked with a perfect smirk on his lips.

“I think, you should re-inspect your future career plans.” I said with a serious tone in my voice.

    RORY’S POV This would have been so nice if it were a simple quiz or a more direct competition and not a heated Decathlon. If it was a simple quiz then I know that by now I would have been announced as the winner.     RORY’S POV I was too shocked to move. I had not gotten over Jason asking me to come back to him and to be his date yet here Todd was matching towards us with flashing eyes. His eyes were fixed on Jason not me and when he got to where we were seated, his eyes flickered to our hands. I looked down as well. Jason was still holding my hand.     RORY’S POV I was successfully avoiding Todd using my upcoming decathlon as an excuse . I spent the whole of Thursday locked up in my room even though I told him that my science group and I were spending the day reading at the park. It was easy to avoid him because he was busy as well. The whole school was anticipating the upcoming basketball game and I knew how much Todd took times like this seriously. He was probably spending endless hours, as he drilled and exercised and all the other stressful sweaty things these athletes do. My decathlon was starting late in the morning and so as early as I could, i made my way to the school’s second auditorium where the decathlon would be holding.
