“No, its not. It’s just that she now gets to see how miserable I was. I mean I’m sure our dad is just a prick but that was the only man I ever had any interactions within my entire life. He sucked. And I mean he sucked so horribly bad that I really am scared and wanted to die.”

Delanie pulled her into the house. The anger she had from the conversation with their father was boiling over. Demi cowered behind the door while her mother stomped outside to give the men a piece of her mind. “You filthy son of bitches you have no right to follow my daughter and terrorize her.” Before she was able to get closer the car sped away. How did it come to this? She looked in the mirror, seeing the grimace on her reflection. Her heart torn in pieces because of what happened. Victoria, her long-time friend came to pat her own the shoulders. There were no words that needed to be exchanged. The two of them had been friends since their elementary school days. They knew what the other was thinking without having to say it. Demi leaned her head against her shoulder staring at their reflection. A decision needed to be made.
