Masuk- Josephine -
Once again I was completely lost in this outrageously large house. I was still thinking about last night, and Tristan’s unwelcome appearance in my bed. I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything, I must have been overwhelmed by coming here, it surely wouldn’t happen again. Now, I had to focus on getting to Lord Leven’s study. Everything looked different in the daylight and I must have taken a wrong turn. Suddenly, I heard a loud crack that startled me. I looked through the window and saw a small carriage taking off down the driveway. “Oh dear.” A voice came from behind me. I turned around to find the housekeeper, who was also watching the carriage leave. “Oh hello Mrs….” “Mrs Crook my Lady” That was it, I had been told. “I do apologise. Hello Mrs Crook” She was smiling at me, but I can’t say it was friendly. Quite like a teacher or nanny who had to smile at you, but there was no affection in it. “Who was that Mrs Crook?” She sighed and fiddled with the rag in her hands. “Oh that was Master Silas. I believe he had cross words with his Father this morning. I don’t suppose he will return until tonight.” Interesting. “That’s a shame. Could you show me the way to Lord Leven’s study? I’m afraid I’m rather lost.” She nodded firmly and off we went. The door was open, so I peered through the gap into the room. I could see Lord Leven reading a piece of paper intently. I didn’t want to interrupt, but I was already late, so I knocked on the door. “Enter!” I pushed the door further, and my heart sank. Standing behind Lord Leven was Tristan. He was illuminated by the large window behind him, and was already smiling at me as I entered the room. “Good Afternoon Miss Felton. How was your first night here? Did you sleep well?” My face flushed red immediately, praying he couldn’t read my thoughts. “Yes, thank you Tristan quite well.” She furrowed his brows but kept smiling, clearly confused as to why I had suddenly turned into a beetroot. Lord Leven finally looked up from his paperwork. “Ah yes, Miss Felton. Please take a seat.” I approached and gently lowered myself into the chair in front of his desk. My breath was becoming shallow, either from the impending conversation, or the fact that Tristan hadn’t taken his eyes off me once since I entered the room. “Give us a moment alone boy. We will pick this up after lunch.” “Of course Father.” Tristan bowed at me as he left the room. “Miss Felton.” Lord Leven smiled at me and sat back in his chair. “Good afternoon, did you sleep well?” He clearly hadn’t been paying attention. “Yes, thank you my Lord.” He nodded and poured two glasses of water before handing one to me. I sipped it hoping it would calm my red face, and then placed it down on the desk. “Good, good, good… I was very sorry to hear about your Father’s death Miss Felton. We were very good friends when we were young men, but I’m afraid we had quite lost touch over the years. I only found out that he had passed when I was notified that you would be my ward.” I didn’t know that. I thought Lord Leven had been randomly appointed. “Did my Father request you?” “Yes, it would seem so. I believe there is only one reason why he would choose me, even after all these years.” I looked at him expectantly, urging him to continue. “He knew my feelings on marriage. You see, when we were young we used to go to all of the balls during society season. I’m not surprised your Father didn’t continue to attend them after he married your Mother, he hated the retched things. One Spring we ran into Mary, Lady Leven. She was stunning, the most beautiful creature that I had ever seen. The problem was she was below my status and my Father did not want us to marry. I fought his decision of course, so did your Father. It took 3 years or me refusing matches, refusing balls, and not courting a single woman, before my parents finally relented and we were allowed to marry. Your Father was my best man at our wedding, and he was very impressed at my commitment to Mary. He and I both felt that love was far more important to a commitment than social status. Do you understand my dear?” “It sounds like you and Lady Leven are very much in love.” He smiled, clearly thinking of her. “Yes, I dare say we are. But I believe that your Father chose me to ensure your happiness. If you had been made anyone else’s ward they would have paired you with who they felt was the best prospect, regardless of how you felt.” Could he be saying that ultimately I can choose my own husband? “It’s my choice?” He sat up. “Well, obviously there are some rules, the man has to be fitting to your station.” I nodded, Tristan and Lord Leven’s maid came to mind. “But yes Miss Felton, I am willing to consider whomever you choose.” I smiled and my eyes filled with tears. I couldn’t help it. I had been so afraid that I would be stuck in a loveless marriage, with my soul and spirit slowly being crushed. I dabbed my eyes and returned my gaze to Lord Leven. “Thank you my Lord. I don’t know how to thank you. I’ve been so frightened.” He stood and walked around his desk until he was stood beside me. He dropped to his knees and gently took my hand in his. “Don’t fret child. I will do whatever I can to ensure your happiness.” We silently shared a smile as he continued to rub my hand. “Miss Felton, I feel I should tell you that Silas would like to court you. How do you feel about that?” My heart sank. Silas was so rigid and stern. I couldn’t imagine him smiling, let alone laughing. “I’m not sure my Lord. I would like to get to know him better, and I am very keen to attend the upcoming balls.” His smile faded somewhat, that’s not what he wanted to hear. He slowly stood up and made his way back to his chair. “Certainly, I understand. There is an upcoming Ball this Saturday. Elodie has already had a dress made for you.” She had? That’s a bit forward. “Oh?” “Yes, she’s excited to have a companion to accompany this year.” Maybe it would be best to go with Elodie, she could keep me out of trouble and fill me in on all of the society gossip. Something tells me she would know everything.- Josephine - I stood and looked at the painting sat on the easel in my rooms. I had so much fun with Tristan this morning, though I think he drew on himself more than the paper. I chuckled to myself remembering his stained fingers streaking charcoal on his face everytime he moved his hair out of the way. A knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts and I made my way slowly to the door. “Good afternoon my Lady.” Mrs Crooks stood in the doorway. She glanced at the painting and scowled at it judgementally before looking back at me. I pretended not to notice and brightly smiled at her. “Hello Mrs Crooks, how can I help you?” “You have a visitor in the lounge.” My heart stopped. “A visitor? Who?” She plastered a smile on her face that didn’t quite meet her eyes, and replied. “Master Hugo my Lady. Shall I make some tea?” I tried to remain calm and aloof but my ragged breaths gave me away. “Thank you, yes. Please tell him I will be there shortly.” After I gathered myself and l
- Josephine - I walked down the hallway, still glowing from last night’s antics. As I came down the stairs I was set upon by Tristan, who was incredibly excited to see me. “Joey! I have a surprise for you, come with me.” I was starting to get used to running around in a tornado of excitement. His happiness was infectious, and while I was holding his hand I felt no embarrassment rushing through the house behind him. He led me into the sun room, and I instantly saw two large easels and a selection of charcoals on a table between them. “What are we doing Tristan?” He turned to face me, still clutching my hand. “I meant it when I asked you to teach me how to draw Joey, but I thought about how boring you’re finding flowers”. He released my hand and turned towards a small stage behind the easels. He arranged sheets over a stool and cried out, “John! We are ready for you my man.” A man appeared wearing a robe, and climbed the stage in front of Tristan. I furrowed my brows in confus
- Josephine - I lay there feeling my chest rise and fall. I took a deep breath and attempted to slide the dildo inside of me. I was instantly met with resistance, but I didn’t push. I quickly realised that the experience was supposed to be pleasurable and I had to be in the right state of mind. I placed it next to me on the bed, closed my eyes and started kneading and squeezing at my breasts. It didn’t take long for my nipples to harden and a familiar warmth stirred inside of me. I gently pinched at my nipples, causing me to whimper as I relaxed into the moment. My legs began to tingle, so I gently scratched the top of my thighs and felt them quiver. I tried to remember how I felt in the bathtub this morning as I writhed in the water. Thoughts of Hugo came flooding back. I thought about his strong arms holding me as he looked at me with that devilish grin. I could imagine us back in the ballroom, but this time I pulled him close and wrapped my arms around his neck. I cou
- Josephine - I had begun to look forward to the Leven family dinners. Tristan babbling with his funny jokes and outrageous stories, Elodie filling us all in on the latest gossip, Lady Leven telling us which flowers were blooming next in her garden. It was routine, but a wonderful routine. Lord Leven sat at the top of the table, lovingly watching his family. The only person that stood out was Silas. Goodness knows what he was thinking about. He ate his meal quietly, and only really responded to his mother. Even with his misery, I still looked forward to this nightly ritual. I was having fun, but I was keen to be alone with my new present. “Shall we sit together? I fancy a game of cards” Lady Leven said, looking at us all eagerly. “I think I’m going to head to bed my Lady, Elodie and I had a long day in town.” I replied. “Oh.” She was clearly disappointed. “Another time Miss Felton.” “Yes my Lady.” I reassured her. “I’d love to play another time.” Elodie wasn’t a fool, she knew
- Josephine - “He danced with you?” Aria had asked that question repeatedly since I told her about the ball. “Yes Aria! Silas danced with me.” “Goodness.” She was clearly in deep thought as she prepared my bath. I didn’t care about Silas, or what he was trying to achieve. I couldn’t stop thinking about Hugo and his gentle touch. “Your bath is ready my Lady.” I walked over, dropped my robe and climbed inside. The warm water rose around my body as I lowered myself. I sighed deeply as I relaxed in the bath. “Thank you Aria.” She bowed dutifully and quietly left the room. The bath had been perfectly placed by the window. I could see the tops of the trees in the garden, and the sunlight cast rainbows in the water. It was heavenly. I began to wash myself, caressing my naked body. I couldn’t stop thinking about Hugo. How he had held me, and stroked my back with his thumb. I thought about his deep brown eyes, and how they were fixed on me. My nipples were hard and I could feel a
- Josephine - Elodie looked at me for a moment, then back at Hugo. Eventually, she took my hand and led me towards him. As soon as he saw I was walking over, his devilish grin reappeared. “Hugo.” Elodie addressed him. “This is Miss Felton. She is living with us as our Father’s ward.” I smiled so eagerly that my cheeks began to ache. He took my hand, and gently kissed it. “Hello Miss Felton, it’s a pleasure to meet you. May I have this dance?.” My heart leapt into my throat. I handed Elodie my glass, and she gave me wink before I turned and took Hugo’s hand. He led me onto the dance floor, before turning and slipping his hand around my waist. I could feel my face flushing red at his touch. The music swelled and we began moving across the floor. He was strong but gentle, and held me with the perfect amount of pressure. I so badly wanted to close the gap between us and press my body against his. “How are you finding the countryside Miss Felton? Quite different from the
- Josephine - I had been waiting years for this moment, my first ball. Aria was rushing around primping and pulling me, making sure I looked perfect. “Pearls my Lady?” I turned to see her nervously holding up two different earrings. “No, I think the sapphires to match my dress.” She nodded ea
