"Riri, we wish you the best for your family!" The Director happily wave goodbye at her— same as the others.

However, some of them had an obvious fake smiles and a touch of jealousy and disgust on their eyes as they look at her.

She just nod.

She smile. "It's alright."

But she wondered. Fever? In the original novel, she hasn't had a fever. She was alright and energetic as she acted cute as always.

"But don't worry!" Jin Li encircle his arm on her again as he lay his head on her shoulder even though he's taller.

"Father and Mother was waiting for you. Don't misunderstood. I'm sure they'll like you especially that you have this blue eyes, Sister."

"Blue eyes?"

He nod. "Yeah. Each prominent family has their eyes as symbols. Our family has a trading mark— blue eyes who was as deep as the sea. The second of the City N, Ning Family has the brown eyes and the third which was the Tang Family has the black eyes." He explain.

"Meanwhile in the Capital, the Mo Family who ranked first has a a golden eyes as their mark. The second Family which was the Su Family has a silver— grey eyes as their mark. The Zhao Family who was the third has an emerald— the deep green eyes as theirs. "

"As for Xiu Ran," He frown. "What's the color of her real eyes, Brother?"

She was confuse. Real eyes? That wasn't revealed on the original novel. According to the story, yes, Xiu Ran has also blue eyes but that wasn't true and even at the end of her life, it wasn't reveal as she never took off the contact lenses of her eyes.

As for how she became the daughter of Jin even though their eye colors are different, it wasn't mentioned in the novel though it was complicated.

Maybe she'll found out soon.

"I don't know. Mother and Father didn't say since they don't want Xiu Ran to feel an outsider back then. That was also why we thought that she was our real sister. Since she was a kid, she always wore her contact lenses so she won't feel outcast in the family. That topic was never raised and even our parents forgot her real eye color.
