Chapter 3: The Unexpected Twist

She went in daze as she process the sudden twist of the story.

Meanwhile, the last one also stood up and hug her tightly which shock her.

"My sister! You're finally back!"

Wait, what?! I don't understand!

The eldest face the Director and nod at him.

"We will prepare her documents and the donation for taking care of her these past years."

The Director grin even more and nod.

"Sure! Thank you very much!" then he look at her— even more gentler.

"Riri, why don't you pack your things first, okay?"

She just nod and her second and third brothers went with her while their eldest prepare her documents personally.

She was still shock by the situation but eventually, a smirk was secretly appear on her lips when she realize everything.

Everything went well that she expected!

It seems that the operation making-the-villain Jin Xiu Ran chase out will be easier too!

"Sister, you just have to pack the important things. You don't need the clothes. We already prepared everything for you in the house, okay? You don't need to worry about everything." Her third brother happily said as he keep on clinging on his arm.

Liu Ri can't help but to twitch her lips.

Was this the arrogant young master from the novel? Why is he so clingy like a koala on her?

"Oh!" The second brother stop from walking.

"We forgot to introduce ourselves!" He grin.

"Princess, I am your second brother— Jin Xuan." He introduce himself while smiling at her.

She wondered. Was this the aloof second young master in the novel? Then what about their eldest? Was he the cold young master too?

She recalled his smile on her and mentally shook her head. It's too far from the novel!

What the hell happened?!

"Sister, me! I'm your third brother, Jin Li!" Then he snuggle on her even more.

She and Jin Li was only two years ahead that's why he was this energetic but base on her memories, he was only like this towards Jin Xiu Ran.

Also both for Jin Xuan and their eldest. But since they're like this, what about their parents?

Will their be a change too?

Then what about Jin Xiu Ran?

What if she's not scheming or what just like the novel says?

What the hell?!

No! She won't let that happened! Maybe there'll be a difference but she was still the villain!

Base from the other reincarnation and transmigration stories that she read, the plot will always be on the end even if some paths will overtuned!

Meaning, she will still do something!

So, she will have to chase her out no matter what! Besides, she's the female lead. She was the only lady of the Jin Family!

Also for her male lead, he was hers!

Calming her mind, they reach her room and they help her pick some things that she just needed.

Alright, she must let her plan start now!

Liu Ri pretended to lost her balance when they turn their backs on her and let her arm knock on the doorknob.

With a bang, she immediately let out a gasp as if in pain.

Well, she was really in pain because she made sure to knock herself hard.

"Ah!"

The two was startled and went to her with a worried expression on their faces.

"What happened?!"

She pretended to be distant.

"I'm fine." And hid her arm.

Jin Xuan frown. "What happened to your arm? Even if you were knocked on the doorknob, you won't feel that much pain."

She look away. "It's alright."

"What alright?" Jin Li frown too and grab her arm.

She pretended to struggle but in the end, she let them see her arm beneath her shirt.

They gasp upon seeing the bruise on her arm.

"What's this?!" Jin Xuan roared in anger.

"Oh, I was hardly knocked." She lied but obviously, they weren't convince.

"Riri," Jin Xuan's face went serious and look at her sternly.

"What happened?"

She just shook her head.

"Did they treated you well here?" There was a hint on Jin Li's voice as he ask her but still, she didn't respond.

As expected, they treated her silence as an agreement which engraved them even more.

They was about to run off outside but she block them.

"Don't."

"Why?" Jin Li was even more angry. "They abused you here and you don't want revenge? Sister, how dare them do this to you!"

As much as Liu Ri wants to act like a white lotus, she still maintain the attitude of the female lead.

Her face was stoic as she answered nonchalantly.

"But they took care of me."

They halt their moves and stared at them. She shrug.

"Don't tell anybody. This was just a small matter."

Jin Li clench his fist and took her hand.

"Sister, we're sorry for being late. We thought that it was Xiu Ran who our sister."

She feigned surprise.

"Xiu Ran?"

Out of her expectation again, instead of seeing the affectionate expression on their face upon mentioning Xiu Ran, it turn grim instead.

"Y-Yeah, there was a sister on the house that we thought it was you. Her name is Jin Xiu Ran."

"I have a sister?"

"Yes but no. She's not our biological sister though."

"Ah."

Jin Xuan smile and stroke her hair.

"But don't worry about her. We will always on your side."

"Side?"

The two look at each other before they shook their head.

"Nothing," He sigh. "But Riri, you don't have to act tough even though you're in pain just like earlier, okay? You have us. We won't let you be bullied even if it's our parents or with Xiu Ran."

She hesitantly nod. "Alright."

Now the situation was even more twisted. It seems like there's something wrong with their relationship with Xiu Ran? What happened?

But whatever it was, the situation was on her side and she would just let the nature take it course.

She knew that chasing her out will be easier.
