Sophie P.O.V

I hoped our passion for each other never died. The way Eric touched me was as if I was being touched for the first time repeatedly. He worshiped my body making me writhe and moan under his touch. We were lucky. Lucky to be starting a family. Lucky to have each other, just like my adoptive parents. I still worried what Mary and Gary would think when they found out I was pregnant. I made a mental note to go and see Mary before the meeting. I would tell her that way she wouldn’t be shocked when Eric announced it.

I longed for Gary, Dr Sven and Gavin to be back. I was beginning to get worried about them. Gavin had stopped replying to my texts and Gary just kept telling me everything was alright, and they would be home soon. That was a week ago.  

After our pleasurable moment Eric and I sat semi-naked on the sofa, our hands interlocked. I could sense Eric was distracted by something. Turing to face him
