Alia reached out and gently held the boy’s hand.

“Come. Let’s stay in a hotel for now,” she said softly, helping him stand.

The boy hesitated but eventually took her hand, his small fingers clutching hers.

“Why the hotel?” he asked, his brows furrowing in confusion.

“There’s a scary monster at my place right now,” she replied with a teasing grin. “So we’ll stay at a hotel tonight and go home tomorrow morning.”

Knight looked at Alia as she laughed, while the two siblings exchanged glances before turning their attention back to her.The tension in the room gradually disappeared. Soon, they continued eating, chatting comfortably as if nothing had happened. Ursula kept talking animatedly to Alia, who listened attentively while taking small bites of her food. Knight, as always, only spoke when he was asked. Before leaving the private room, they made sure to finalize the agreement regarding their collaboration.Ursula then turned to Alia. “Why don’t you join us?”Alia shook her head with a small smile. “I’m fine. I drove here anyway.”“Are you sure?” Ursula insisted.Alia nodded.“Alright,” Ursula said as she got inside the car. “But remember your promise—I’ll be the first one to try your new creation, okay? Bye!” she added before closing the car door. Caspian, acting as the driver, started the engine and drove away.Alia waved goodbye before turning around——and immediately bumped into someone.

“Rhea, you think far too highly of yourself—thinking Alia would still feel jealous of you leeching off her husband,” Ursula said mockingly.Rhea’s face flushed red with irritation. She couldn’t stop herself from feeling annoyed at Ursula for butting in.“Ursula, I know I wronged you last night, so I understand why you’re talking to me like this. But we were friends before, so—”Ursula cut her off. “That was before. Now, we’re not. Never again. I won’t be deceived by a venomous snake like you.” Her eyes were cold as she continued, “I always thought what you said made sense. Turns out, you were manipulating me all along—pushing me to pick a fight with Alia when there was never any reason for us to hate each other. This was your plan from the very start!”Hearing this, Rhea lowered her head, hiding the truth buried in her eyes. What Ursula said was true—she had manipulated her to stir trouble with Alia.“And I won’t be deceived by her anymore either,” Caspian spoke up this time. “I alway

The disgust on Alia’s face was unmistakable as she looked at Rhea.“Get away from me!” she snapped.“Alia, why are you—ahhhh!”Rhea crashed to the floor with a loud thud after Alia’s harsh kick. The blow landed hard on her abdomen, sending her sprawling, her head and back slamming against the cold floor. She groaned in agony, clutching her stomach as tears streamed down her face. Earlier, her crying had been fake—but now, the pain was real. The moment it happened, Jasper rushed to Rhea’s side, once again playing the role of her prized savior, her shining armor. It was a scene Alia had witnessed far too many times.Every time he rushed to protect Rhea whenever she played the victim, a wave of inexplicable disgust twisted inside Alia.Whenever I see him saving her like this, it always makes me jealous, she thought bitterly. I really want to slap myself for ever feeling that way.Jasper quickly helped Rhea up, holding her tightly in his arms.“Are you alright?” he asked, his voice thick

“A distribution and brand endorsement agreement?” Knight asked, his expression clearly questioning her.“Even if I don’t work for you, at least this agreement will give you the authority to sell under Silver Passion,” she replied.“The agreement also includes giving both Anderson Fragrance and Silver Passion first look at all of my creations,” she continued, glancing in Caspian’s direction. “Mr. Anderson mentioned before that Rafflesia was willing to teach other perfumers in the company, so I’m giving that idea a chance.”Caspian’s eyes widened. “A—are you serious? You’re willing to do that now?”Alia nodded. “Truthfully, your old man told me about your suggestion a long time ago. I was just too busy preparing for my wedding with Jasper back then, so I rejected the idea. Now that we’re doing business together, why not include training as well?”Caspian immediately nodded in agreement. “Right. Since this agreement was made on short notice, I’ll ask my assistant to personally send the c

As soon as Alia opened the door, she was surprise to see the two siblings, Ursula and Caspian, inside the private room. The siblings sat side by side at the round table while Knight sat one chair apart from them and his assistant Philip is standing behind his boss. Her gaze shifted from them, each one giving them a look. Her curiosity couldn't be contain that she questioned the two."Why is Mr. and Ms. Anderson here?" she asked, tilting her head. Her gaze shifted to Knight. "Aren't we here to talk about business?"Knight's stern and serious expression didn't change. He explained. "They insisted to come with me when they find out I'll be meeting with you.""Why would they—"She didn't get to finish her sentence when Caspian interrupted her."Ms. Morvane, let us explain first. I know you have a grudge against us siblings but please, we did not seek to meet you with the intention to harm nor insult you like we did last night," Caspian explained.Ursula butted in. "That's right, Alia! We

As the two walked out, followed by Philip who kept a respectful distance behind them, they noticed that the area was unusually quiet. There were no guests in sight—only the servants and butlers of the Anderson family, busy clearing the place.Out of curiosity, Alia stopped a passing servant.“Did the party end early?”The servant nodded. “Yes, ma’am. Young Master ordered us to clean immediately after the Old Master’s birthday celebration. He ended the party early.”Alia nodded and thanked the servant before walking away.Once they were outside the Anderson Estate, she headed toward her car. Just as she reached for the door, someone suddenly held her hand, causing her to stop in place. She looked down at the hand gripping hers, then slowly lifted her gaze to meet Knight’s eyes.“Is there anything you need, Mr. Silvercrest?” she asked.“I…” he hesitated briefly before continuing. “I would like to invite you to talk tomorrow. You already know what it’s about.”Alia smiled faintly. “Just
