Reminiscence 4

Droplets of water were dripping on my body. I was shivering with cold. I slowly got up from the ground and searched for my cellphone but I had left my bag in James' car.

I was totally helpless. I didn't know where I was. Few meters away I saw a dim street lamp. I made my move towards it in the dark that I hit stone numerous times with my leg and fall. I still managed and got to the lamp.

I didn't found any roof or anything to take shelter. I stood close to the lamp shivering with cold and rubbing my arms.

"Ah..." suddenly the thunderbolt hit the last lamp and there was total silence. I fall to the ground with the shock. I felt an electric shock on my body.

I screamed out in pain. I tried to sit upright and when I was able to sit I hugged my knee. My body was trembling with cold. Slowly I was not feeling my feet and hand.

I knew I was close to death now and trust me I prayed to God to end my life soon because it was hard for me to tolerate. I buried my face o
