Ella's POV

When Megan arrived with the health personnel, they took the waitress to the hospital. Megan and I took a cab and drove to the hospital.

We stood in the waiting section anxiously. We both were panicked, as the waitress with whom we had so high hope was admitted to the hospital and the biggest thing was there was very little chance of her survival.

She was only the person, who could assist us to reach the culprit. I prayed for her survival.

When the doctor appeared out of the emergency room, we hurried towards him.

"How... How is she, doctor?" I was first to interrogate.

The doctor first peeled off the mask from his face, uncovering his upset expression, and replied, "she is no more, we couldn't save her. She lost an excessive amount of blood and couldn't survive."

I took a step back feeling numb. The only hope that could lead me to the culprit was proclaimed deceased.

My mind only one thought that moment, "How was I supposed to get the culprit now?"

Soon the policemen arrived
