Inadequate Distractions
Koin
Koin sat with his back to the wall, still naked and bathing in the small bit of moonlight his porch provided. This had always been a habit of his, when life got heavy, this was his attempt to make it lighter. Something about the nearly taboo feeling of walking around naked out in the open seemed to ease whatever burdens hung to harshly. The day had, been so confusing. That bite sized little snack had managed to plague his mind the entire day. Now Connor saw her, and what's worse was his reaction to Koins reaction. His first assumption was that she was Koins mate, but no matter how Koin explained that they had no real connection he wouldn't drop it.The whole drive home he made a show of picking on Koin, teasing him. usually Koin would laugh it off, but he actually felt some sense of jealousy. He decided it was because she was...different. they shared sluts all the time, the twins were a constant go to. Neither of them perfect, but hot in their own ways. By the time they actually made it to the fire to await the twins, he was fuming. How could this one simple human girl possibly get to him this much?
Or...was she human? He didn't actually know. His fingers drummed his beer bottle impatiently. She wasn't a wolf. He has Alpha blood; she wouldn't have been able to behave the way she did.
She wasn't a vampire, he did hear her heart beat normal, he could see the light flush of her cheeks.
He heaved a deep sigh, only now noticing the twins had arrived and Connor was trying to hog them both. He acted impulsively instead and stood to go wrap an arm around one’s waist. truth be told he didn't remember which was which, but he had, had them both, and after all they were twins, so the decision wasn't cause for concern. They were both used to this…. To an extent. Koin had never been much for romance or dancing around the bush when it came to sex, an opinion that actually split a lot of his pack down the middle. Yes, wolves have destined mates. But Some people believe that having sex with anyone other than your mate is a betrayal.
Some meaning men. Men think their female mates having sex with anyone but them is wrong. It's like Christian guilt has somehow bled over into their society, a culture of Magical shape shifting wolves with a tingle of sexism. Hence why the split, because the other side leans more towards natural behaviors, of course with some semblance of civility. People don't walk around smashing random people in the head when their angry.
Twin A didn't seem to mind how he behaved, in fact she giggled and tugged at Koin as they made their way through the back yard. Koin couldn't really mask his irritation just then, so he simply heaved her up against a tree with his one arm, jerked down her meager jean shorts and felt her, sliding his finger along her slit a little roughly, dipping in to massage her clit before he continued the opposite way, making sure she was wet. The rest seemed a blur, except his..anger?
Yes Anger. Towards twin A really. He was mad that..she seemed....wrong now. Her moans sounded..fake..naisely..
She looked back at him nearly smiling, and he went harder, making her scream out now as the bark of the tree cut into her skin just a bit. He was oddly encouraged by it. by making her give out some noise other than the ones she's probably made for plenty of others. If he were being honest, his mind quickly began to wander, to the red-haired doll, To the way he was sure her fuller form would probably bounce against him much more heavily, making his harsh thrusts deeper and harder.
He nearly forgot to pull out before he came as the tantalizing images of his mystery girl were replaced by the sudden realization that the blond Twin had asked him to stop, but he hadn't heard her at all. he swallowed hard watching her "I. I’m...' she shoved at him wobbly legged and jerked her shorts up to wobble off. Koin swallowed watching her go.
He didn't hear her?
He just...
He felt his stomach knotting quickly, not only because he felt immensely guilty for taking things to far and hurting the poor girl, but..because watching her wobble away on jelly legs instilled some deep pride and warmth in him that he couldn't quite explain. He felt heavy as he shuffled silently up to his room, thankful his parents were away at an alliance meeting with another pack.
That's how he wound up naked on the porch, mind still full and getting fuller. That stupid girl was making him fuck up with her mind games. who did she think she was anyways? And who was she? after a few hours he pushed down the garbage rotting away at his brain and stood. This was his home, his town to protect.A newcomer with more secrets than he liked could threaten their peaceful community. If he wanted to fix his unruly demeanor and irrational thoughts, he needed answers. He pulled on shorts and made a call to the sheriff, requesting a small perimeter in town and drove to park at the school. He shifted and sniffed but found nothing after hours of his search. Still, no scent. nothing. he broke into the school and searched for her file, only to get dead cell numbers, the name of her parents and an address. It was nearly 2 am now, and he couldn't think of much else to do except to drive out to the address.
As motivated as he was, he wasn't going to make the mistake of acting so wildly again. He couldn't very well drive up to a stranger’s house in the dead of night and demand to speak with their daughter, especially if they were human and oblivious to the world around them.
Or could he?
Answer Me! Yavonne It was now Sunday night, nearly 1am. Yavonne sat on her little shamble of a porch, staring out into the dark sky splattered with stars. This was another perk of a small town, the stars. She had spent Friday night and Saturday night looking at them as well. She had left Friday night for the lake, with every intention of returning home to sleep in her bed. However, things took a very different turn. She stayed until 1 am... swimming and waiting for an answer. There was always an answer. She needed help. She asked the moon to give her a boost. Asked Any God or Spirit to aid her or show her a sign. She made offerings. prayed. She walked until her feet went numb. danced, sang. slept in the dirt for two nights. She watched and waited for something...Anything at all, but nothing came. Just like her family had all been there one day, then the next day wiped off the face of the earth. The gods and spirits spoke to her so eagerly and openly one day, and the n
Does He Deserve It? Koin Koin was woken up by a brought older man shaking his shoulder gently "Hey? hey...come on now. you alright?" No. He wasn't. His head was throbbing. What the fuck was that? And more importantly...what had he done? He shook the old man off "Fine." he grunted out but froze in place. The most intoxicating scent flooded his senses. Like deep wild forest, like thunderstorms and moss...*Mate. * His wolf Azier raged At him. Not only had he assaulted that poor girl and threatened to kill her, but she was his mate. He realized after a moment the guy was still watching him, and he pushed past to stagger out into the hall and take a look around. The school was empty, the clock signaling it was evening, nearly 5. He had been unconscious the whole day? He felt like he couldn't move anymore. Then the enraged voice of his father came through the pack mind link *KOIN!! ANSWER ME OR I SHALL HAVE A SEARCH PARTY ON YOUR TAIL!!* He shivered a bit swallowing back the
Empty Homes Yavonne She was so focused on getting away she barley felt the long gash along her side leading to the glass protruding from her hip. She simply ran. Ran like she hadn't since the day her family was slaughtered. Flashes of green and brown mixed together and there she was again, her mother and sister on either side of her, her brothers Infront of her, she heard the screams. the screams and shriek of cannon, the crash of bullet, bark splintering, thud of bodies crumbling to the forest floor. She could smell it, death in the air, her village, her home burning behind them as the remaining survivors scattered into the forest. Yavonne reached for her younger sister’s hand as she began to fall behind, but something crashed into her quickly and sent her rolling, head over feet down the steep rock cliff and into the little river below. She didn't know what was real just now. They screamed still. screamed and burned and turned to ash while she lay there, unable to help. Heathen
Coffee and Horror Stories Koin It had been 2 weeks since Yavonne left. Two agonizing weeks. Had had barley slept or ate, but he went to school, and all day long held out hope. Maybe...maybe she would be there? He and Connor had cleaned her apartment, installed a new window and door, and Koin had made very sure her rent would be paid. His father had promised to dig up what he could on her, but so far there was no word. There were 3 things he was sure of. 1. She was hiding from someone. 2. She wasn't human, or..at least she was a gifted human. and 3. If she returned right now he would grovel at her feet and beg her forgiveness. By the second week he had a key to her apartment. He stocked her previously empty fridge with a variety of foods as he had no idea what she might like. He brought little gifts and flowers, but..no one came. Sitting in her empty apartment was both torture and bliss. Her smell was everywhere and eased the ache in his heart slightly, but her absence was
Through The Eyes Of Your Brother Connor *Man this is a messed up situation.* Connor sent his wolf Pelgardie. Pelgardie grumbled in response. He never was much for words. Most people talked about their wolves like they were people, carrying on whole conversations, but Connor never got more than a few well placed grunts or a growl. He loved his wolf, but boy would it be cool to have a companion to bounce things off of. Usually that was Koin, his best friend was always level headed and Connor needed that. Koin had always balanced him out, he was careful, thoughtful, and well..all the things Connor never seemed to be. Connor offered a good time, helped Koin let loose and blow off steam. the two had always been inseparable, and there was no one Connor respected more. So what could he do now? Koin was in pain. So much so that the whole pack could feel it, though no one wanted to tell him that. He was becoming more and more reckless, lost in waves of shame and despair. Connor hadn't foun
The Old Gods Koin The entire drive was 23 hours; we drove 14 before stopping at a hotel on the side of the highway. Koin felt like a brick in the seat weighing the car down. He tried to imagine it. The horror of what Thalia had been through, still a child, her whole family wiped out in a day. How had she made it so far? How had she survived on her own? He held a new reverence for his lost mate. She must be so strong to have survived all of this, so resilient. He knew that she wouldn't be there..and yet still he hoped. Things seemed easier with everyone helping, looking. His father was still pissed, and with good reason. Koin was meant to take over at 22. Only 4 years now, and he had made such monumental mistakes, he had let his instincts get the better of him. As nice as it was to be out of the car, Koin was antsy. He wanted to be on the road, or better yet in the forest. Azier had been ignoring him, he was beyond angry, in agony. The few times he had let Azier to run he would h
The Big Hole Thalia She spent nearly 500 dollars just to get to Colorado, and she was sure someone had taken her family horde. She searched for nearly a week before she came across something startling. Her family horde...every bit of treasure and dollar had been moved into one massive plot with what remained of other families’ belongings. not stolen. But reburied. some else had to have survived. She couldn't find and clues though and waiting 2 days more did nothing but push her deeper into despair. She made a quick note, anyone worth contacting should understand the runes enough to figure it out. Then she set upon the bigger task. Selling off what she could for cash, which would be easier if she didn't have fake I. D’s and was under 18. She wanted to get away from her old home that held so many cruel memories and thought it easier to sell along the way back to West Virginia, so even if they thought twice about her she would be gone. Her strength was returning slowly, gods and spi
Doing Circles KoinKoin had actually fallen asleep on the car ride, he suspected Connor had something to do with that as he was extra concerned with getting Koins morning coffee. He didn't mind, Connor wouldn't do anything to harm him. It was nice to sleep really, his dream was great. Thalia spread below him in the grass, her brown, red curls splayed out around her magnificent face. That taunting little grin pressing to his jaw every so often. she was saying something, but he couldn't hear her at all. Didn't matter, he crushed his lips to hers every opportunity he saw, hushing her as he lost himself in the way her skin tingled against his. He pulled back a moment to say something, but it was no longer her. Now some..bloody mangled corpse lay bellow him, a man perhaps? his blue eyes were wide with fear and rage and as Koin stood he gave out a feral animal like scream, a sound so terrifying Koin had to cover his ears, bending to his knees. Koin jerked awake with coughing gasp, he was
