The dream

Icarus and Darren retreated to the wine cellar to catch up but as soon as they were behind the closed doors, their temperment had changed.

The two of them sat down on the counter, facing each other. Icarus said, "You can tell me now."

This was the first time Darren could be seen with a serious expression, it looked really out of his character.

He said, "I think this is the end of my life, Icarus. I can't escape what is coming to me now."

"What do you mean?" He raised an eyebrow. Back then on the dining table, when Darren mentioned that his parents were forcing him, he knew that something was up. His elder brother was not the kind to listen to anyone just because of a little pressure, there was a lot to the story now.

As he had suspected, the situation was really bad for the man. He said, "I found my mate three months ago in Vegas. She was a small waitress in a high-end restaurant."

Icarus grunted, allowing the man to continue, "I was not yet ready to settle down… so I dated her for a
