It was already the next morning when Phil woke up tired and hungry, he was confused since he was asleep the whole time and he soon discovered why this was the case. Traveling in the plains of sleep depletes your energy since 'Lucid Divers' do not connect to their tethers and directly use the energy of their souls resulting in the diver feeling exhausted once he wakes up rather than refreshed like the normal dreamers.
Phil walked out of his room to head downstairs and eat his breakfast since he was famished. When he arrived he found that his parents were packing their respective bags.

Phil sat down on his seat not listening to Seth's discussion, he was still imagining how to best approach his situation with Jess. Phil lost in his thoughts started to daydream. A tall and handsome Phil was standing in front of the door when suddenly it opened and a beautiful Jess walked out clutching a stack of paper emphasizing her chest. Her red high heels clicked as she walked closer to Phil. She slipped and the papers were thrown in the air, Phil reached out for the papers with one hand while the other grabbed and hug Jess on her back. Like dancing in a tango both bodies were close as the last paper slowly drifted down and Phil caught it with his teeth.

Phil slowly picked up the papers hidden in the compartment of the back cover, he tried to read it but noticed that it was not written in the Roman alphabet. Phil tried to make sense of what was written in the paper since most of them had illustrations of some kind of being. Phil looked at the page that he deemed the oldest since it was made of some unknown leather. In a remote and rundown town in Egypt, an old man was slowly walking looking at the now empty houses that surrounds him, the sound of his cane echoed on the dusty and war-torn walls. Phil decided to relax first before he go and dive into the 'plains of sleep’; he was also preparing himself for what horrors he might see deep in the abyss. Thinking about how to get a relic that can repulse the miasma, Phil was in a dilemma since he does not have the money or the connections to obtain or purchase that kind of thing. He was walking home when suddenly he thought that maybe Seth has a relic of that kind or in the least has someone he knows owns that kind of relic. The black ebony-colored door ornate with carvings of ravens in different postures was revealed to Phil as the bookcase opened due to him pushing the button under the table. Inspecting the door, Phil noticed that it had no handles and a large bust of a raven with its beak open was the central piece of the door. Phil stared at the raven and noticed its eyes were blood-red crimson rubies. Phil tried to push the door but it did not budge even a bit, he tried taping and listening and observed that the door was metallic but at the same time wooden in nature, and the deep bass feedback helped Phil deduce that the door was heavy and at least an inch thick.&nbs
