Layla’s entire body was stiff and sore, and her head was filled with the beat of her heart. Layla stirred and tried to sit up, but two hands pushed her back down. Layla didn’t know what to expect for the wolves’ pack house, but once she saw it, it was different from what she would have imagine. The house was quite large and had the structure and feel of a cabin. It felt homier than Layla was expecting. Layla followed the others into the house and the inside followed with the theme of a homey cabin. It was very spacious and was two stories high.“I’ll show you too your room.” Aiden said. Layla simply nodded as she still took everything in. She followed Aiden as they walked through a dining room and then up the stairs. He led her to the last room on the second floor. He opened the door for her and then placed her bag on her bed. The room was clearly prepared for a guest. It had two huge windows on the far side wall that overlooked the woods and the bed looked comfy and neat with white covers over it. The room had its own bathroom and a desk as well.“You can get comfortable and pack away your things, then I’ll come get you later for dinner.” Aide
