I remember the first time I met April, she was so little and loved Brandon so much,sometimes I thought more than I did, she’d always say “wolfie is my savior and I love him.”

I remember when she climbed into my arms and then into Brandon’s for comfort, before going to school she’d knock on the bedroom door or have Ashley roam the pack grounds looking for him and all hell would break loose if he wasn’t there

We’d have to call him on his cellphone for her to say her good mornings and her goodbyes. I remember Miss Angie calling us to her office because April was teaching the children of the pack to stage a riot so they would get to watch cartoons and go outside longer instead of learning about their wolves and what’s to come. After that day we had to send her to a human school not too far from the pack, but that didn’t mean she left her wolf friends together. We had plans to adopt her officially when all this was over but I guest life had something else planned,
