Why Beta Brandon Went Rogue

“Beta Brandon of Blood moon pack, you stand here today being accused of going rogue by your alpha and your pack.” Author said,

“It’s just Brandon and I know why I’m here.”

“You do know what are the charges laid against you and you do know if you're found guilty you would be sentenced to death?”

“And if I’m not, what would be my sentence?”

“You’d be a free man to walk amongst the trees in the forest and have pups with your mate.”

“That sounds pretty good, it's been a long time since I took a walk.”

“You talk as if you know you're going to be a free man.”

“I am going to be walking away a free man.”

“And how do you know this?”

“Because once I tell my story, you’d have no choice but to charge the real monsters.”

“The real monsters?”

“Yes, the real monsters .”

“What have these people done to deserve the title monsters?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know.”

“Yes we’d all like to.”

“Then ask me the question.”

“What question?”

“The question that’s been playing on your mind the very first time you heard about the incident.”

“And what question might that be Brandon Henry?”

“Why did I go rogue?”

“Report to my office Beta Brandon.”

The voice of Alpha James woke me from my slumber. I rolled up off of my bed, brushed my teeth, took a bath and dressed in my black suite.

I put on my shoes and headed for the fourth floor.

The pack house at blood moon pack is huge, the first floor is the kitchen and living room, the second floor is the betas and gammas rooms, their kitchen area and toilets and bathrooms.

The third floor is, Alpha James entertainment room. It has a small private room, somewhat of a small nightclub, a small movie theater and a games room. I headed straight to the fourth floor and knocked on Alphas office door.

“Come in.” His husky voice commanded

I won’t lie to you or to myself since alpha James took over I’d constantly have a creepy and uncomfortable feeling around him. Almost as if he was hiding some kind of dark secret which would come as a total surprise to me if I ever did find out. Because well I’m with him all the time.

“Alpha.” I replied bowing my head.

“Ahh, Beta Brandon, come in and have a seat.

We have something to discuss.” He gestured me to the chair opposite him.

“Yes Alpha.”

“This is about the rogue attack we had recently. It turns out one of our neighborhood packs was attacked and I’d like to send you to help them.”

“It would be my pleasure, alpha, when do I leave?”

“In one week to two weeks . So sharpen up on your training skills because my men are always the best.”

“Yes Alpha.”

Later that day after training I walked back to the pack house. My body is sore all over. I don't know what it is with this guy and training us like killing machines. But it’s nothing ‘palo’ my wolf couldn’t handle, one quick shift and my aching muscles would be healed.

I was a short distance away from the pack house when I spotted alpha James talking to some young she wolves.

If my eyes didn’t deceive me and I saw right, then I just literally saw Alpha James kiss one of the young she wolves and peeked the other on her neck.

“I’ll never understand this man, he has such a beautiful mate yet he’s here being unfaithful.” Palo said to the back of my head.

“I’m sure he’s not unfaithful to Luna Marisa.” I tried sounding convincing.

Palo huffed and withdrew to the back of my mind.

I quietly approached Alpha James, deciding to catch him off guard.

“Not you again with your sneak attacks Brandon.” He said to me,

“You caught me again alpha, hey girls aren’t you supposed to be in training.” I glare at them.

They stormed off.

“Why are you such a buzzkill Brandon, you always scare the ladies away…”

I got so lost in the scent of lemon and honey that I didn’t even hear the words coming out of Alpha James' mouth. All I know is that my mate is around and I’d like to get a look at her.

I turned my attention to the big Apple tree north from where I’m standing and I just took in her beauty.

Damn she’s beautiful.

The way her hair falls on her back, the way her eyes, her Honey comb eyes match her hair and her perfect smile, she’s everything a man could dream of and more.

I found out I’m matted to her a couple months ago, Palo my wolf, had confirmed it but she is still young; she's only seventeen and not at the age yet to be matted.

When I talked to my mother about the situation she said that once my mate turned eighteen she’d recognize me.

So all I had to do was wait, but waiting was hard since I see her everyday because she’s my best friend's little sister.

“Beta Brandon did you hear me?” Alpha James asked me.

“Huh, sorry I got lost for a moment. Say again.”

“I asked if you found your mate or if you see anyone you're interested in. You're always tense, you need to get laid.” Alpha James said.

“I found my mate already, but she’s not of age so I’m waiting.”

“Really who is she?”

‘Don't tell him.” Palo, my wolf whispered.

“She has honeycomb eyes and long brown hair.” I said to him,

“She sounds like a real beauty.“

“Not as beautiful as Luna.” I said and his face dropped.

He never talks about Luna because he says she’s a weak omega wolf who’s only good for two things. Cooking and making pups
