Aleandro again will not be fooled by any more Yunifer tricks who want to delay their divorce. After completing an important project, he went straight to the hospital with his lawyer.
Aleandro hasn’t met Yunifer since he got the news about her accident because he’s running his company’s latest project, so he’s unaware of her current condition.
“You should have contacted me to welcome you.” Kenneth leads Aleandro and his group to Yunifer’s VIP room.
“I just thought I’d stop by. You don’t need me to bother you, doctor,” said Aleandro.
“Oh, well.”
Kenneth would like to ask further why Aleandro had been visiting his wife for only a few minutes. Though he hadn’t come to see his wife, who had had a big accident. But Kenneth stopped himself from asking.
Aleandro’s children’s wife’s scandalous affair has been the victim of both social media and news as Aleandro Gilren is well-known as the most successful young entrepreneur in the Capital.
Of course, he didn’t want to see his wife any longer. So Aleandro and Doctor Kenneth took him down the hospital hall to the hospice ward of Yunifer.
Aleandro suddenly gave up his stride to see the figure dressed as a patient trudging up without anyone’s help in the hospital’s hallways. The woman even rudely refused the nurse who wanted to help her.
Aleandro glared at some people whispering at her. “Alen, there are many people who know Yunifer. But what she’s doing is coming out in her condition like that. Does she want sympathy?”
His secretary, Sherly, and his childhood friend whispered next to him.
Aleandro growled, increasingly unhappy. He accelerated his approach to Yunifer.
As soon as he almost got in front of her. Yunifer’s body suddenly falter. Aleandro quickly grabbed her before she hit the floor.
“What else are you trying to do this time!”
Aleandro’s voice full of anger. This foolish woman uses every possible means to curry sympathy.
He gazed coldly at the young Yunifer’s pallor face. She blinked her eyes at him in a daze.
“Who are you?” She murmured before fainting in Aleandro’s arms.
Aleandro wrinkles his forehead. What does she mean by not recognizing him?
Does she want to play amnesia?
Blocking the fury in his chest, silently giving her a bridal style, then he walked at Doctor Kenneth.
“Show me where her room is.”
“Come with me, Sir.” Doctor Kenneth stepped forward. He could sense Aleandro being in a bad mood.
....
Yuriel opens her eyes slowly. The view of the ceiling and the wall of a white room filled her vision. She thinks she went back to her nurse’s room.
“Are you awake?”
Yuriel blinked and then looked at the middle-aged doctor standing beside her bed.
She tried to sit down and instantly moaned in pain.
“Mrs. Yunifer, you can’t move yet.” Kenneth was in a hurry to stop her.
Yuriel just saw it. “Who do you call me?”
The doctor looked hesitant. “Mrs. Yunifer?”
Yuriel furrowed her brow. Is she suspected of being Yunifer? Then the doctor knew Yunifer?
Yuriel shifted her gaze around her room. Finally, her gaze fell upon a group of people gathered near the sofa.
A stilled look at the irresistible handsome figure, sitting on a single sofa surrounded by some in suits and a beautiful woman standing next to him. He looks like a boss.
Yuriel pursed her lips in unhappiness. She felt a distaste for crowds, especially in closed spaces. Yuriel tried to sit down and stubbornly ignored Kenneth’s word.
“Who are those people? Why are they gathering in my room? Get them out!” Yuriel’s emotions have been bad since she woke up.
For some reason, she has hatred toward those around her. It reminded her of being harassed in a confined club room and people swarming around harassing her.
Some of the people in the room were surprised. However, Aleandro’s expression doesn’t change. He crossed his hands in front of his chest with arrogant face.
Yuriel doesn’t like him. His attitude reminded her of Thalia.
“Dear, do you remember me?”
A beautiful woman approached Yuriel and gazed at the concerned condition of her body.
“Should I remember you?” Yuriel is asking the questions too coldly.
“Oh, no. Do you really have amnesia?”
Yuriel sorted her lips at her with a derogatory expression. The woman’s concerned expression looked fake.
“Who are you! What’s your business with me!” She yelled at her to see her annoying face.
“Stop your nonsense.”
Yuriel looks at the handsome man sitting on the sofa. The man stood up and approached her with a firm step.
“Stop pretending and sign the divorce papers immediately. This time I’ll personally be watching you sign it.” Aleandro put the divorce papers in front of Yuriel.
Yuriel glanced at the document in front of her and then looked at Aleandro with a frown. “Divorce papers? I’m not even married. Who are you?”
“Don’t test my patience and sign the papers right now.” Aleandro said impatient.
“I don’t even know you! Why should I sign the divorce papers?” Yuriel tossed the document in Aleandro’s face.
Even if it was her husband, she wouldn’t let him divorce her just like that.
Aleandro’s countenance was filled with anger, while others around them were breathless and sweating. They know the big boss’ anger is scary.
“Mr. Gilren, please calm down. Mrs. Yunifer just came out of her coma from an accident. Her emotions may be unstable.” Kenneth is rushing Aleandro down.
Yuriel suddenly turned her head and grabbed the doctor’s collar as soon as she heard ‘accident’.
“What happened after the accident?!” Yuriel looks like she wants to swallow the doctor if he doesn’t answer her questions right away.
Kenneth was terrified by Yuriel’s terrifying stare, and the grip on his collar nearly strangled him. Where did she get so much power after an accident?
Aleandro frowned his forehead, ‘Yunifer’ ignored him.
Doctor Kenneth rushed to appease Yuriel. “Ma’am, calm down. You survived the crash while your car exploded with a friend in the car.”
A jiggle in Yuriel’s head rang at the doctor’s words. The image of a lifeless woman bleeding in a car flashed through her head.
A massive fire set the car on fire, and the sound of a deafening explosion passed like a broken record.
Yuriel let out a hysterical scream. Her heart feel hurt, stab in pain. Her breath caught. Her chest tightened. She can’t breathe.
Yuriel’s breathing heavily. She tried to breathe. Her whole eyes were blinded by tears. The image of a lifeless woman in a car goes on and on in her head.
She had a firm grip on her chest. Her crying broke, sounding like the howl of a wounded animal. It was heartrending to make one look away with red eyes.
Aleandro was stunned, and some people in the room froze. Yuriel’s cries of pain echoed in the nursery, then stopped abruptly. Kenneth was surprised to see Yuriel fall again.
Aleandro wiped away his tears and rushed out of the room to the next room. The room smelled like a nursery, with milk and powder wafting through it. Where the crying had come from was a crib in the middle of the room.Aleandro peered into the crib and saw a small baby dressed in girl's clothing crying aloud. Like Aleandro, she had thin black hair. His expression softened. He was worried because he had forgotten his child while attending Yuriel's funeral and was drowning in grief.Aleandro reached into the crib and carefully held the baby. The baby's crying still didn't stop. He was worried and panicked because he didn't know how to calm a crying baby."My dear, stop crying, okay?" Aleandro's heart was sour. His daughter's cry was reminiscent of Yuriel's cry a moment ago.The baby had hiccups, her tiny eyelids slowly opened to reveal her mother's green, teary eyeballs.Aleandro's heart melted when he saw his daughter's green eyes, which were identical to Yuriel's. He held the baby in h
Aleandro knelt and placed a white rose bouquet on the grave. He knelt beside the mound of dirt, oblivious to the fact that his body was drenched in rainwater.“Yuriel...” Aleandro gently stroked Yuriel's name on the tombstone, as if he were touching the skin of the woman in his memories. He seemed to be able to see a smiling face in front of her. In a hoarse voice, he said. "It’s all my fault. You are free to hate me and leave me. But I can't...you can’t leave me like this and then never return…"Aleandro had a sad expression on his face. Looking at the grave, tears welled up in his dark eyes. His heart couldn't accept Yuriel's departure."I'm sorry I locked you up and made you suffer."Aleandro could still see the look of rage, disappointment, and hurt in Yuriel's green eyes when he locked her in the villa and tortured her. Under his torture, the smile that had always graced her beautiful face with arrogance was gradually replaced with hatred, pain, and terror. Her eyes gradually los
Sherly grimaced, holding her head. She was dizzy and a warm liquid ran down her temple. Her eyes welled up with tears as she saw the blood on her head and looked up at the cold-hearted man with pitiful eyes.Aleandro snorted and walked out of the room casually.“Aleandro!” Sherly sobbed as she called out to him. Why was he so cruel to her? She only loved him, but he was cold to her.The bedroom door was wide open, and several maids who passed by whispered to Sherly.Sherly looked very sad. She was still dressed in her wedding dress and sitting on the floor, her head dripping blood and staining her wedding dress.Their wedding night turned out to be a nightmare. Aleandro left Sherly in her bedroom, proving that her position in Aleandro's heart was nothing, despite the fact that she was his wife.“Poor Miss Sherly, she was abandoned on the wedding night.”"Our master only has feelings for madam, but Miss Sherly insists on marrying our master. It's no surprise he left her in her room."H
Yuriel stared blankly out the bedroom window at the vast expanse of sea. The sun was setting and twilight rays were floating on the sea's surface. Seagulls soared through the sky. She didn't know how much time had passed because she hadn't counted since her confinement days.Yuriel shifted her gaze to the seafloor. The room was on the edge of a cliff. This kept her from breaking the glass and escaping. What if she shattered the glass and jumped? It made no difference whether she drowned or hit a rock to get away from this place or that devil-like man. She was ready to die. While deep in Yuriel’s thoughts, the bedroom door opened and a maid cautiously entered the room with a tray in hand. She looked at the woman sitting under the large french window pane. The woman stared blankly at the sea stretching outside like a caged bird longing to fly freely."Madam, it's time for lunch," the maid said, placing a tray of food in front of her. But the woman didn't move or even look at her.The ma
“Aleandro, I'm not going to let you insult my daughter. My daughter was obviously still a virgin at the time. Because she only likes you, she can't possibly sleep with another man!" Celine screamed in defense of her daughter, pushing aside her fear."Come on, mom. In either case, it was an accident. Aleandro was not to blame." Sherly pretended to be sad while holding Celina's arm so she wouldn't attack Aleandro. She gave Aleandro a sad and pleading look. "If you don't want this child, that's fine. But I beg you, please give my child a surname. So others cannot offend him."Aleandro was growing impatient and didn't want to waste time arguing with them."Then you have two options: abort it or raise it yourself. One thing is for sure, I will not marry you or give your child my family name. I only take into account the child that was born inside Yuriel."You can't do that, Aleandro. Because Sherly's child is the Gilren family's grandson, you are not the only one who can decide the fate of
18:00, GN Group.Aleandro massaged his throbbing temples as he considered the slightly bleak financial reports of late and Mayor Rollies' intensifying media attacks. There was a soft knock on the office door."Come in," Aleandro said, his gaze fixed on the document in his hand.Viktor's figure entered with heavy steps as the door opened. He looked doubtful at his boss, who was checking the financial documents in his hands while massaging his head."What is it?" Aleandro asked coldly as he noticed Viktor standing by his desk without saying anything.“There is news regarding Thalia Gibson, sir,” Viktor said as he grimaced at the boss."What news? Have you fixed it?” Aleandro asked indifferently and went back to checking the documents in his hand.“Thalia Gibson ran away after her family's company went bankrupt. I've been looking for her and found her in a suburban hotel. But…she was already dead before we could find her. The hotel representative said she committed suicide by drowning he
