After the case in their estate, Duncan got thrust into another meeting because his father needed to focus and take care of all the issues in their own territory.

As the only son and heir to the shadow bane pack, he couldn’t say no to the summons, especially since it came from one of their close allies.

Now left with making certain there was no evidence of his recent encounter, as it would strike an enormous blow to his image and persona.

“Are you sure?”

He asks with a deep frown, raising his hand to the beta in front of him to let him smell his arm.

They were still in his room, only having finished his bath, and were now choosing what clothes to wear.

Though confused, Ben Lenox again took another good whiff on his alpha’s skin, his nose twitching and creasing every time he’d get struck by his leader’s powerful musculine odor.

“Yes, alpha. The only trace I get from you is the smell from the cellar.”
