Chapter 87 ~ Everything had to end

Looking at Anberine's lifeless form as she slowly walked towards the bed, she laid her back on to the mattress with her arms resting on either side of her reminding him of a bird. meanwhile allowing her legs to dangle on the edge of the bed.

Skye as he witnessed this felt his chest was being squeezed tightly from seeing how frail she looked. Almost as if she would buckle and collapse at any moment when she walked back to her bed.

Just watching her nearly stumble a few times, it had taken him a lot of self-restraint to prevent himself from helping her. Even though Skye continued to push away the gnawing worry from seeing her almost falling to the floor.
