Chapter 14

I woke up the next morning with a headache. I could barely remember the night before. When the fog in my head finally cleared up, I remembered my night with Damien. I rolled over to the other side of the bed to make sure it wasn't some dream. Damien was turned towards me with his arm throwed across my body. He was still sleep and lightly snoring.  I couldn't even lie. It felt good to have him here. 

Aza came in the room and climbed on the bed. 

"Mommy, why is my daddy sleeping in your bed. I thought he had his own room now." She asked curiously.

"Aza come on let's go down stairs and watch Paw Patrol." I hurried and got her out the room . I want ready to answer that question . He'll I didn't know the answer myself.

I decided to get up and fix breakfast. Me and Aza was the only two up in the house and it was peaceful. I love moments with my daughter. She was smart and much too curious.
