3 - The proposal
"Hey baby", the voice came from the door and she smiled, knowing who exactly was there. He placed his palms over her eyes and she giggled, pulling him down to kiss him. He chuckled and kissed her lovingly. "How are you doing, my darling Sophia", Jim asked his beautiful blonde girlfriend.
"I'm okay, I still can't believe Jada's married though, it feels so weird and amazing, you saw how she was glowing on her wedding, didn't you?", she asked him dreamily, stretching the mask she had on her face with her dreamy smile.
"That's because she married a Prince, he's filthy rich", Jim suggested, hoping she wasn't indirectly telling him she wanted to get married because he honestly wasn't really ready for that, it's such a huge step for a couple. He loved her and he knew he was definitely going to marry her but he wasn't exactly ready for the whole marriage phase.

"So is it a formal thing or-?""No, I'm not a big fan of formal dates", he chuckled. Jada had become very familiar with the part-time maid and her 14-year-old daughter, Lara, under a month of staying in South Africa. She wouldn't lie, she was enjoying her stay there and she didn't want to leave anytime soon. Meanwhile, Rita had been trying to get the management to grant her a leave. She hadn't taken a break for over a year and this time, she needed it. The management claimed there was nobody who could interact with the listeners like her and that was a lie. They were just being wicked, they don't care about the listeners, they never did. All they were interested in was the finance coming from them occupying the station, the listeners didn't matter, she didn't matter, only their pockets mattered to them. They could skip broadcast for a year but still get paid so whatever they've been saying to her about not being able to grant her a leave was false.Besides, there was a rumour going round that their boss was into drugs and the station was just a cover-up for his dealership.
