Leaning forward, Annie braced her hand on his thigh. Softly pressing her lips to his, Stolas let out a groan as he brought his hands to her knees. He wanted to drag her into his lap, to tangle his hands into her hair while he tasted her lips.

Instead, he let her take the lead. Letting the heat build between them as her tongue moved tentatively against his bottom lip. His tongue met hers with the barest of touches, afraid that if he were too forward, she would run from him.
