"Hello? Who's this?" I greeted. "Damn, Vareen. I'm jealous." I can clearly hear Jayce's voice. I can also hear him moaning. Wait... what is he doing? "You guys didn't even invite me and Oliver. You're going to be in big trouble when I get there. You'll probably scream my name loudly and you'll beg me to not stop doing my thing." — In a city where Vareen's restaurant, Carmelita's, is the talk of the town, her personal life is about to get even spicier. A chance encounter with two magnetic friends, Jayce and Oliver, sparks a whirlwind romance that challenges everything she thought she knew about love.

VAREEN
The first man who entered was dark-skinned, lean, and had a predatory air about him. He had a serious expression and a grim slant to his mouth. His jet-black hair was slicked back, and he wore a formal all-black suit.
He had a presence about him that made it feel like if he gave you an order, you'd obey and even kneel before him. Just kidding.
What I mean is, he looks like a bossy person with a dark aura.
The man behind him grabbed my attention. He was a bit fairer than the first one. All I can say is he was the complete opposite of the first guy. He had a smile on his face and seemed like a kind person. He really showed off his pair of dimples and his pearly white teeth. His messy blonde hair gave him a hot, alluring look. The people he passed by were also smiling at him.
Shit, I just can't stop describing them. Are they the ones I've been waiting for?
Wait, I shouldn't assume yet—what if they're boyfriends? That's what I want to avoid. I might just end up embarrassing myself, ugh.
The two striking men looked around the room before their gazes landed in my direction. Rohndee greeted them and pointed in my direction. Hmm, why? Just then, I saw Aihira looking at me and smiling. Does she have something to do with this?
The way they look, they seem like bosses or managers of some business, CEOs of making your panties soak into wetness. I was so busy staring at them that I didn't notice Raze had left my side and was talking to his friends at the other end of the room.
It's hard to take my eyes off of them.
"Gentlemen, what can I get you?" our bartender greeted them happily. They first glanced at me before turning their attention to the bartender.
"We'll have three hard tequilas," the Dark Guy said. Three?
"Anything else?" They both shook their heads, and the Blonde Guy just smiled. "Oh, meet our boss, Sirs." Our bartender pointed at me. They both looked at me and smirked.
Damn, they're practically melting me with their stares. It's so embarrassing; I might just collapse right in my seat.
"Your drink," the Blonde Guy handed me a glass of tequila. Oh, it's for me. I thought they had another friend with them.
"Thank you, but I can't accept this," I declined. I looked at Aihira. She's mouthing, "Take it!" This is her doing again. Is that woman messing with me again? Oh, she is so going to get it.
"Please take it, we just want to treat you," Blonde insisted. I couldn't say no and accepted it. I'm into hard tequila, but I've been drinking for a while now. I might not be able to handle it and give in to them, just kidding.
"By the way, I'm Oliver Martin." The Blonde Guy and I shook hands. So... Oliver is the name.
"And he's my best friend, Jayce Vander." He introduced his Dark Aura friend. Best friends, really? I noticed the way their arms brushed against each other and how close they were. It's like there's something more than just best friends.
I was trying to remember where I'd heard their names before. The names are familiar. I suddenly felt a thrill from them. The intimacy between the two gives off a more-than-friendly vibe. It's like there's something going on.
"I'm Vareen Dalton." They looked at each other and both smirked again.
"You're the famous new model! We've seen you on the news and in magazines! And damn, you're so hot on your new billboard!" So they did know me. I'm a new model from the Constell Modeling Agency. Aihira forced me to become a model. She had recruited a model before, but the person didn't show up for the photoshoot and she later found out they quit for some unknown reason. She pressured me into it so she wouldn't lose her job.
And since I didn't want my best friend to be embarrassed, I just accepted their offer, even if I didn't want to.
It's just modeling, but what I didn't expect was that my photos would become so popular and sought after. I became famous because I surpassed their most beautiful and talented model, which I didn't have the intention of doing.
They probably got tired of the other model's face, too. Of course, people want something new.
"Ahh, yes," I agreed.
"That's why you look familiar," Jayce said. Damn, that husky voice. I want to hear him moan.
I stopped myself from thinking horny shit and took a sip from my drink.
"We're actually Rhondee's business friends; he invited us here. That lucky bastard is getting married. We didn't expect that," Oliver told me. I guess Rhondee and Aihira are the same—people who aren't expected to get married so early.
"So, you two... you work together or also...?" I really don't know how to ask, but I want assurance. I need to be sure.
"Or what?" Jayce raised his brow as if he was daring me to ask.
I was about to answer him when Aihira interrupted us.
"Enjoying Vareen's company, boys?" Aihira asked them.
"She's basically single, treat her well. Oh, I should go!" I glared at her before she went to the other guests. You're so going to get it.
The men exchanged another glance. At this point, I already want to mourn the hot one-night stand that I won't get from them. Ugh, if I ever get to do one of the things on my bucket list, I could get it from them.
I'm so horny!
"You and Aihira are close, aren't you?" Oliver asked me. I nodded.
"Super close," I answered.
Oliver patted my arm. "Thanks for having us," and then he smiled. His smile is so mesmerizing, oh my god.
"Do you have a date?" Jayce asked me. I shook my head and finished the contents of my glass.
"Don't worry, I'll accompany you two. You have me for the night," I told them and grinned. My stomach almost flipped over at his overly flirtatious look. I don't know if he's flirting with me or just being nice.
I called the bartender. "Serve them the best meal we have here, if you don't mind, use my best recipe. I'll treat them both."
"Sirs, you should accept that one-time offer. Her recipe is the most popular thing here. You'll never regret it." Before the two could even answer, the bartender was gone from in front of us.
"We cannot say no to you. We're hungry, too," Oliver said. Wait, babe, what kind of hungry is that?
Jayce just looked at me with amusement. "You're a chef, too?" he asked.
Yes, I am a chef.
"Wanna taste the best food you can ever have? You can have and eat me. Bon appétit, boys!"
I stopped myself from saying that. They're just too sexy and attractive. I can't blame myself; I'm easily attracted, especially to their looks.
Instead of saying what was on my mind, I said, "Yes, trained and professional." I bragged. Aside from Business Management, I also studied Culinary. I know it was so hard, but thank goodness, I graduated and passed both courses.
"It's my favorite part of working here," I shared. I blushed, still unsure why I just revealed a very personal detail. Of all the guys I've met for the first time, I only felt comfortable with them.
"Surprise us with your best recipe, babe."
Special ChapterAfter watching the video his mother recorded, Jayce immediately went out and headed straight to the parking lot.Oliver silently followed him. They were right. They already knew it for a long time, but they didn't want to ask her. They knew that there was a connection between them the first time they saw them. They're just being cowards, again. They didn't want to get their hopes up, even though they knew there was a chance. These two hot billionaires are being terrified? Only one woman could make them like this. When they arrived at the chapel, the family had already left. Oliver left his car at the chapel and rode with Jayce."Jayden? Where are you?" Jayce asked as he called his brother."We're off to our rest house in Taytay, Rizal. Mom's siblings stayed at the chapel for a while. What's up? Dad has been worried." Jayden asked from the other line."We need to talk." Jayce made a U-turn
Epilogue 2"Yes, we're going to visit your Aunt Helia," Vareen said. A lot has already happened to her cousin. She still can't believe that her cousin, who was so distant from men, is also getting married. If I'm not mistaken, she's been with her husband for 9 years. That one's love life was so messy. Imagine falling in love with someone you're not supposed to be in love with."Oh yeah, I heard she just gave birth to her fourth child," Oliver commented. After a while, Jayce arrived at the mansion, carrying a box of donuts from Starbucks. "Valerian, get the coffees from the car. I left them.""Right away, boss." Valerian went to his dad's car and got seven cups of frappe from the passenger seat.Valerian has been calling his father his "boss" because he's having his work immersion as a Grade 12 student at his dad's company. He has been told to take the same course his father did before, but he's choosing Entrepreneurship. Valeriu
Epilogue 1"Hey, Dad!" Valerius sat beside his father, Oliver. His class ended early, so he decided to join his Dad for dinner at his Mom's restaurant."You're late." Valerius placed his bag on the chair next to him and sat down, scratching his head. How could he not be late? He was swarmed by his fangirls."Sorry, Dad. It's almost hard to get past them." He pointed to the girls waiting outside the restaurant. They couldn't get in because you needed a pass to enter. Only the wealthy could get in; it's a hell of a luxurious restaurant.Oliver called the attention of the guard and ordered him to make the girls leave. The guard nodded and followed the order. The other guards had a hard time making them leave, but after a while, they left on their own."Why did you get yourself involved in that group of yours if you didn't want to be swarmed?" Oliver asked."I just did a favor for my twin. He's the one who joined me in that
Chapter 68OLIVERI got out of my car and greeted him with a hug. I couldn't see his reaction because he was wearing sunglasses."I-I'm sorry for not showing up." He said shortly."It's okay, I understand. You should at least show yourself there. Everyone is worried about you.""It seems like you're the only one worried, as if they care about how I feel." I just shook my head. His friends and family are really worried about him. Maybe he's just used to them not being by his side whenever he's not doing well, whenever he has a problem, whenever something is wrong, and I'm the only one who has stayed by his side, no matter how much of an asshole he is. "We should probably get going,"He got in his car, and I got in mine. I followed his car, and we stopped in front of a ba
Chapter 67OLIVER"Condolences." I just stood there silently, watching the people flock to the memorial chapel where Jayce's deceased mother was laid to rest.It was her who died three days ago. It has been three days since the consecutive incidents happened: the kidnapping, the killing, the bombing, and lastly, her death. No one expected that she would die that afternoon. Everything just happened unexpectedly. One of my Dad's colleague's sons, one of our close friends, stood beside me. "It's too early for Tita Minerva to go." I heard him say that to me. I sipped on the frappe I was holding and sighed."It really is." She took three bullets to save Jayce from getting hurt. She did that for him. Everything happened too quickly. Leon, on the other hand, killed that Primero afterward. It has also been three days, and Jayce still hasn't shown up. I couldn't help but worry. He's not doing well right now.
Chapter 65VAREENI couldn't move from where I was standing. I still couldn't believe what was happening. The only thing I remembered from yesterday was talking to my Mom. A man arrived, and she suddenly covered my nose with a handkerchief containing a sedative.I woke up earlier, tied to the bed, and that's when I saw my Mom's unconscious body and her blood splattered on the floor. Her body was full of stab wounds and was relentlessly shot.I don't know why he did that to me, and I don't know why she was dead when I woke up. I don't know anymore!Just when I found them again, this happens. What really happened? I almost didn't recognize Dad earlier with how he laughed and talked. He even said sorry, then said he should have killed me sooner? What is it that my own father wants to kill me? What is happening that my Mom would do that to me?I don't know if I should cry, or throw a fit, or just be sil
