Chapter 2
VAREEN
"Let's see what this place can offer." I glanced between them. Fuck, why do they appear hungry for more than just food? Maybe I just examined them wrong. There's something here worth seeking. The longer I stayed, the more I felt a thrill from them.
"Alright, my recipes, uhh, not everyone likes them, but most people always come back here for that," I boasted. That's true. I have a four to five-star rating here. My recipes have also been featured in famous magazines here in the Philippines, and I can say that I'm highly proud of that. Grandpa is so happy for letting me handle the business.
"Don't worry, we're always looking to try new things," Jayce sneered.
"We love surprises." Oliver grinned as well. I don't want to give meaning to those smirks and grins, but I can't help it!
"Who doesn't?" I raised an eyebrow before I stood up. I guided them to their table, well, my favorite part of the restaurant.
It was a part of the bar that didn't have many people. The waitress followed us right away, returning with a cold wine. That's the perfect booze for the food.
"Thank you, Margina," I told our waitress before she left.
"Hmm, it smells good already." The waitress served us our best dish. Mixed buttered seafood with my added secret ingredients. I taught it to the co-chef, who is also our head chef, and thankfully, he was able to replicate the process and the amount of ingredients to use.
"Careful, boys. I've been told that our best dish induces orgasms." I flashed a flirty smile. Oliver took the first bite and groaned in ecstasy. He even closed his eyes when he tasted the food. I'm imagining things again.
Shit, my perspective is changing. Why am I aroused?! The drinks I had earlier are really taking effect.
"Holy shit, this is good." He took another taste. Jayce didn't comment, but I could see on his face that he also liked what he was eating.
Between the two of them, Oliver is the talker, while Jayce is mostly quiet.
"Glad you appreciated it. Eat up!" I told them.
"Oh, we intend to." Jayce smiled. Shit, is it just me?! Or do the words they say really have another meaning? Why do I feel like they're twisting every word I say into... something sexual?
Vareen, it's just the alcohol. Vareen, stop. I secretly calmed myself down so they wouldn't notice.
Hmm, what if they're both gay and they also have a list to accomplish? 'Fuck with a straight girl'?
Argh! What am I thinking?!
"Vareen! There you are. C'mon, the photoshoot is about to start, guys." Aihira came over to us. She pulled me away, and the two followed.
"You two are having a good time with my Vareen?" Aihira asked. I'm sure tomorrow she'll be asking what happened and what will happen tonight.
"She's been taking great care of us so far," Jayce mentioned.
I swallowed when I saw how they looked at me and how they glanced at each other as if they were sending a message to each other.
I really can't help but think that they are gay or bisexual. I'm not against it, but damn, these two are making me enticed!
Many more pictures were taken. It turns out I had more pictures taken than the couple getting married. The male guests and my other fans also had their pictures taken with me. If I hadn't left, the lovebirds might not have gotten a picture! They own the spotlight, not me! Jeez. It's embarrassing.
I looked for the two. Where could they be? I must have spent almost an hour on that photoshoot! I looked at our table from earlier. They weren't there, and surprisingly, the food was gone. They must have eaten it while they were waiting for me.
I found them at the bar counter.
"Famous, indeed. We almost went home, but we can't just go home because we're still enjoying your company." Oliver said. Still enjoying or waiting for something.
I sat on the high stool and gazed at them both.
"What's wrong, Vareen?" Jayce asked.
"Nothing, I- I just can't figure out what's between you two." Instead of giving me a confused or even a disgusted look, they both chuckled.
"Come out with us and you can explore all you want to know about us," Jayce said. They are both strangers to me, but I don't know what came over me, but I agreed to them.
I called Margina, who was cleaning a table.
"Margina, you take care of things here, okay? I'm going to accompany them," I whispered to her.
"Take care, boss. It looks like you're in for a wild night," she whispered and then she gave me a mischievous smile. I rolled my eyes at her, and she just laughed.
It seems like she's not wrong. Oh, well!
Is one of my bucket lists about to be fulfilled? I'm excited and scared at the same time.
Scared that I might not be able to handle it?
No, I mean, scared that they might have a bad plan for me.
There are two of them, and I might not be able to handle it.
"Alright, just make sure you don't do anything bad to me." They didn't hesitate and pulled me out of my restaurant. I was about to say goodbye to Aihira, but I already found myself in front of their car. I'll just text her instead.
We got into a fancy car. Jayce insisted on driving. They made me sit in the back while the two of them sat in the front.
"I like her, Jayce," Oliver looked back at my seat.
"Me, too." I saw Jayce look at me from the rear-view mirror. I can see the thirst in his eyes!
Soon, we arrived in front of a building. As usual, people in the lobby were staring at me. They hurriedly pulled me towards the elevator. We were the only ones there. I couldn't help but feel nervous and heated.
Jayce pinned me against the elevator wall, and their cage around me was almost uncontrollable.
They were like two hyenas working together to trap their prey. I even compared the two of them to hyenas. I'm done.
Jayce scented the aroma on my neck, and Oliver stroked his hands on my hair. Anytime now, I will give in, right here in this elevator.
Shit, is this really it? Is something going to happen?
What if they're just inviting me to some networking event? I'll really kill them!
Is this really a threesome? I want to do it, but I might not be able to handle it. I've never done anything like that before.
The elevator opened, and they immediately pulled me into a room. They sure love to pull people. Excited much?
My heart is thumping rapidly and loud.
Seems like I'm gonna check one of my enlisted bucket lists tonight. I can't fucking wait.
Special ChapterAfter watching the video his mother recorded, Jayce immediately went out and headed straight to the parking lot.Oliver silently followed him. They were right. They already knew it for a long time, but they didn't want to ask her. They knew that there was a connection between them the first time they saw them. They're just being cowards, again. They didn't want to get their hopes up, even though they knew there was a chance. These two hot billionaires are being terrified? Only one woman could make them like this. When they arrived at the chapel, the family had already left. Oliver left his car at the chapel and rode with Jayce."Jayden? Where are you?" Jayce asked as he called his brother."We're off to our rest house in Taytay, Rizal. Mom's siblings stayed at the chapel for a while. What's up? Dad has been worried." Jayden asked from the other line."We need to talk." Jayce made a U-turn
Epilogue 2"Yes, we're going to visit your Aunt Helia," Vareen said. A lot has already happened to her cousin. She still can't believe that her cousin, who was so distant from men, is also getting married. If I'm not mistaken, she's been with her husband for 9 years. That one's love life was so messy. Imagine falling in love with someone you're not supposed to be in love with."Oh yeah, I heard she just gave birth to her fourth child," Oliver commented. After a while, Jayce arrived at the mansion, carrying a box of donuts from Starbucks. "Valerian, get the coffees from the car. I left them.""Right away, boss." Valerian went to his dad's car and got seven cups of frappe from the passenger seat.Valerian has been calling his father his "boss" because he's having his work immersion as a Grade 12 student at his dad's company. He has been told to take the same course his father did before, but he's choosing Entrepreneurship. Valeriu
Epilogue 1"Hey, Dad!" Valerius sat beside his father, Oliver. His class ended early, so he decided to join his Dad for dinner at his Mom's restaurant."You're late." Valerius placed his bag on the chair next to him and sat down, scratching his head. How could he not be late? He was swarmed by his fangirls."Sorry, Dad. It's almost hard to get past them." He pointed to the girls waiting outside the restaurant. They couldn't get in because you needed a pass to enter. Only the wealthy could get in; it's a hell of a luxurious restaurant.Oliver called the attention of the guard and ordered him to make the girls leave. The guard nodded and followed the order. The other guards had a hard time making them leave, but after a while, they left on their own."Why did you get yourself involved in that group of yours if you didn't want to be swarmed?" Oliver asked."I just did a favor for my twin. He's the one who joined me in that
Chapter 68OLIVERI got out of my car and greeted him with a hug. I couldn't see his reaction because he was wearing sunglasses."I-I'm sorry for not showing up." He said shortly."It's okay, I understand. You should at least show yourself there. Everyone is worried about you.""It seems like you're the only one worried, as if they care about how I feel." I just shook my head. His friends and family are really worried about him. Maybe he's just used to them not being by his side whenever he's not doing well, whenever he has a problem, whenever something is wrong, and I'm the only one who has stayed by his side, no matter how much of an asshole he is. "We should probably get going,"He got in his car, and I got in mine. I followed his car, and we stopped in front of a ba
Chapter 67OLIVER"Condolences." I just stood there silently, watching the people flock to the memorial chapel where Jayce's deceased mother was laid to rest.It was her who died three days ago. It has been three days since the consecutive incidents happened: the kidnapping, the killing, the bombing, and lastly, her death. No one expected that she would die that afternoon. Everything just happened unexpectedly. One of my Dad's colleague's sons, one of our close friends, stood beside me. "It's too early for Tita Minerva to go." I heard him say that to me. I sipped on the frappe I was holding and sighed."It really is." She took three bullets to save Jayce from getting hurt. She did that for him. Everything happened too quickly. Leon, on the other hand, killed that Primero afterward. It has also been three days, and Jayce still hasn't shown up. I couldn't help but worry. He's not doing well right now.
Chapter 65VAREENI couldn't move from where I was standing. I still couldn't believe what was happening. The only thing I remembered from yesterday was talking to my Mom. A man arrived, and she suddenly covered my nose with a handkerchief containing a sedative.I woke up earlier, tied to the bed, and that's when I saw my Mom's unconscious body and her blood splattered on the floor. Her body was full of stab wounds and was relentlessly shot.I don't know why he did that to me, and I don't know why she was dead when I woke up. I don't know anymore!Just when I found them again, this happens. What really happened? I almost didn't recognize Dad earlier with how he laughed and talked. He even said sorry, then said he should have killed me sooner? What is it that my own father wants to kill me? What is happening that my Mom would do that to me?I don't know if I should cry, or throw a fit, or just be sil
