~death~

I knew this was a bad idea. Why did I agree to watch over the prez's sister? Oh right, because I'm the only one good enough for the job.

As I exited the prez's office, I inwardly cursed my predicament. How in the hell was I going to protect her when all I wanted to do was take her over my lap and spank that juicy ass?

Shaking my head to clear my wayward thoughts, I made my way downstairs and saw her talking to Drifter.

"Vick, we need to talk," I said gruffly.

I watched as her eyes held a mix of trepidation while she made her way toward me. I couldn't help but check her out. She was stunning, and that only made my job harder.

"What's going on?" she asked, her voice steady despite the worry in her eyes.

"Your brother wants me to protect you," I said bluntly. "Things are going to get rough, and I need you to follow my lead. No arguments."

She nodded, understanding the seriousness of the situation. I felt a flicker of relief as she nodded to my words.

"Do you need anything?" I asked her.

She nodded shyly. "Just a few items."

With that, I turned and headed upstairs for my keys. When I came back down, she was still standing there, waiting for me.

"Let's go," I said, leading the way outside.

We walked to my bike and she stared at it dumbstruck.

"Hop on"

I got on the bike, and she climbed on behind me, her arms wrapping around my waist.

I groaned at the contact, "This was going to be one long ass ride".

"Hold on tight," I instructed before starting the engine.

We rode through town until we reached the boutique. As I shut off the engine, I looked around to make sure the coast was clear before helping her off the bike.

"Go inside and get what you need. I'll be right here," I told her.

She nodded and went into the store. I stood by my bike, keeping a watchful eye on our surroundings. This was a risky trip, but it had to be done. I just hoped we could get through it without shit hitting the fan.

I leaned on my bike, scanning the area but also keeping a watchful eye on her. I couldn't help but admire her from a distance—her beautiful smile as she talked to the sales clerk, her red hair blowing in the wind, and her captivating hazel eyes. She was perfection.

When she glanced my way, I quickly averted my eyes, pretending to focus on something else.

Then I heard the door open, followed by a loud bang and screams. Instinctively, I reached for my weapon, my heart pounding.

I rushed toward the entrance, my gun drawn. "Get down!" I shouted, spotting her wide-eyed with fear.

Without thinking, I grabbed her and pulled her to the ground, shielding her with my body as bullets shattered the boutique's glass windows.

"Stay low and don't move," I commanded, firing back at the attackers.

As the gunfire died down and I heard the deafening screech of tires, I knew we had only moments to get out of there before the cops arrived.

"Get on my bike, now!" I shouted.

She scrambled to her feet, and we hurried to my bike. I helped her on, then jumped on in front of her, revving the engine to life.

We peeled away from the store, leaving the shattered glass and chaos behind. My heart raced as we sped through the streets, but I couldn't let my guard down. She clung to me tightly, and I could feel her trembling against my back.

"We'll be safe soon," I shouted over the roar of the engine, pushing the bike to its limits.

Just as we pulled up to the clubhouse, she dismounted, grabbed her bag, and quickly ran inside.

The prez came out, his expression serious. "What happened?" he asked bluntly.

"Ambush at the boutique," I replied, still on edge. "Had to get her out before the cops showed up."

His eyes narrowed. "Is she okay?"

I nodded. "Shaken, but unharmed."

He glanced toward the clubhouse door, then back at me. "Good. We need to tighten security. I don't want this happening again."

"Understood," I said as I made my way inside.

~death~The guys all filed into the prez's office, their faces grim and focused. Prez stood at the head of the table, the envelope in hand."Ok, listen up," he shouted, his voice commanding attention. He placed the envelope on the table. "I just came upon some very important information."Everyone leaned in, eyes locked on the envelope."It seems my sis has been keeping some very important information hidden, probably so her ex wouldn't get it," Prez continued. "But we're going to use this information to find my sister."He opened the envelope, spreading the papers out on the table. "We're going to split up and search every building that's in this information. Kill anyone that gets in your way. Find out whatever you can until we find my fucking sister."I watched as everyone nodded, determination etched on their faces."Ok, let's ride," Prez shouted. Then he looked directly at me. "And Death—I mean the enforcer—I want you to be the ruthless person I know you to be."I swallowed hard a

~death~As I lay on the medical table, all I could think about was Vick. Every moment that passed felt like a dagger twisting in my chest. I couldn't take it anymore. With a groan, I tried to sit up, but Racket's firm hand pushed me back down."I can't stay here. I need to go find her," I insisted, my voice strained with desperation."How the hell are you going to find her if you bleed out? Sit down and let me patch you up!" Racket shouted, frustration and concern etched across his face. But I couldn't stay put. Every second wasted could be used to find her. Just as I was about to push past Racket, the door to the room swung open with a force that made the hinges creak."Sit the fuck down and let Racket do his job!" the prez shouted, his eyes blazing as he glared at me."Look, Prez, I can't. They captured Vick because of me. If I was paying attention, she wouldn't—"The prez cut me off with a sad, understanding look. "I know, Death. You did all you could to protect her. If Ironhead di

~vick~I coughed as someone threw cold water on me."Wake up, sleeping beauty," a voice I knew all too well sneered.I opened my eyes, squinting to adjust to my surroundings. I tried to move, but it was futile; I was tied to a chair. The dim light of the room revealed the gaunt, sharp features of Derick, my ex. His once handsome face was now twisted with cruelty, dark eyes glinting with malice. His hair was slicked back, a far cry from the disheveled look he used to have. A nasty scar ran down his cheek, a souvenir from one of his many fights."Well then, let's get started," Derick said, a sinister smile playing on his lips as he glared at me."What do you want, Derick?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. He stepped closer, his fingers trailing along my cheek in a mockery of affection before he slapped me hard. My head snapped to the side, the sting burning across my face."You think you can just run away from me? You think you can hide with your biker friends and be safe?" He c

~death~"Fuck, fuck, fuck," I muttered to myself, knowing I blew it moment Vick turned her back on me. Her fiery attitude caught me off guard, and I sighed heavily as I headed downstairs.Jen, one of the club whores, passed me and gave me a knowing look. "Oh, you fucked up big time, buddy," she said, shaking her head.I looked at her questioningly as I continued toward the bar. "What do you mean?"She rolled her eyes. "You think we didn't hear? This place is like a damn fishbowl. Everyone knows you and Vick had a thing we just kept it to ourselves and didn't tell the prez, and now it's all blown to hell. You should have seen her face when she came downstairs."I sighed again, rubbing my temples. "Yeah, well, it's complicated.""Doesn't have to be," she replied, leaning against the bar. "You like her, she likes you. Just stop being a dumbass and go after her.""It's not that simple," I said, pouring myself a drink. "Her brother, the situation with her ex... it's all fucked up."Jen shr

~Vicky~I couldn’t believe it. The way Death shot me down at the motel—my suggestion made perfect sense. After all, that no-good son of a bitch was after me, right? I shouted in my room, venting my frustration. After we came home this morning and had a good talking to from my brother, I hadn’t seen Death since. But oh my gosh, I squealed, thinking about the motel. I couldn’t believe it—me and Death. I blushed deeply, remembering every heated moment.Just then, I heard a knock on my door. “Hey Vick,” Death said, his voice muffled through the wood. “We need you in your brother’s office in a few.”I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. “Okay, I’ll be there,” I called back.I quickly changed into something more presentable and made my way to my brother’s office. My heart was pounding, both from the memories of last night and the uncertainty of what was about to happen. As I entered the office, I saw my brother sitting behind his desk, a serious expression on his face. ~death~As we headed inside, most of the guys were busy cleaning up or sitting at the bar. Vick was pissed as she stood there, waiting on her brother, while I was trying to keep a cool head. What Vick had suggested earlier was crazy."So where the fuck were you two? You had me going absolutely ballistic when everything was finally calm and I couldn't find you or my sister!" the prez shouted, looking at both me and Vick.I sighed and stated, "Well, your sister decided to take a walk in the middle of the chaos that happened yesterday without anyone noticing, and when I finally realized she was gone, I went looking for her."I watched as the prez turned his furious gaze toward his sister. "What the fuck were you thinking, Vick?" he demanded. "You know that was dangerous! Suppose Death didn't notice you were gone in time? You know your crazy ex is out there looking for you. Then what?"Vick turned her gaze towards her brother, her eyes filled with defiance. "You don't think I know that? I
