Chapter 16: The Thirst

Ragnor smiled, lowered his head and covered her lips with his. He kissed her more passionately than he had ever kissed her. In his kiss, he did express how he felt about her. Clara felt weak at her knees she leaned on Ragnor as both were still lost in the passion of their kiss.

They both left the park and went to a nearby restaurant before heading home. It was past 7 pm, and Ragnor was feeling a little weak. Staying around Clara for the past forty-eight hours, he had not had time to feed himself. He could not use his powers on Clara anymore because his heart accepted her. He can't make her fall into a deep sleep as he did to her the first time he brought her to the mansion and subsequent times. His attention was divided while driving as he was thinking of how to leave the mansion late without Clara noticing and also paying attention to the road. He appeared to be normal behind the wheel

"Is everything alright, you look troubled?" Clara asked worriedly
