Aria sat in the passenger seat with her face turned towards the window while Henry drove towards home in silent. Her shoulders seemed to be shaking as she quietly cried out her frustration and anger.
She could feel her heart squeezing within her chest over and over again as tears continued to pool at her eyes before rolling down her cheeks.
He did it again.
Frank has hurt her again.
This time, it hurt more than she could absorb and just push aside as if it's nothing. Because the pain she was feeling at that point was real. The tears in her eyes were not fake_ she was hurting like never before.
