LOGINJamerson's POV
Age Six
The first man started to speak. "I am the Alpha of my Siberian wolf pack. This is my Luna. Our names aren't important. That young man is our Seer in our pack." He pointed to the one that laid Chrys down. "I understand they aren't normally male so please keep that to yourselves. It will be important in the future.
Their alpha continued to speak, "Where we came from is the Dark realm. We were in the middle of battle when your pup showed up and started killing everything that came at her. Lucky for us my wolves are well trained and only sustained damage that they will heal from very soon. They were trying to restrain her. After I used an alpha command to keep my wolves from fighting she then used one of her own that had everyone on their knees and bellies except for my Luna and myself. It was hard to deny and I could see it was causing your pup pain to use it for the first time while also having to fight for dominance. We knelt and showed our necks. She finally succumbed to the energy she was exerting."
Taking a look around the alpha spoke again, "It seems the portal she built was a long way away now that we are here to see it. And she was fighting from the time she came through it seems. We also had to use her as a key to bring her back since she couldn't tell us anything. From what I can see here, neither she nor you knew what had happened."
I could tell Luna Elena was restraining herself from grabbing Chrys and disappearing.
Alpha Virgil turned away from us and asked, "what do you mean a portal? No one in my pack has that ability let alone my own daughter. She also can't shift. She is just a pup."
"She is your alpha heir is she not?," asked the new alpha.
"We are hoping to have a male so it doesn't fall on her shoulders," said Alpha Virgil. Shaking his head my Alpha said, "Why am I even explaining any of this to you? I thank you for bringing her back. My Luna and I are forever grateful. If you need anything in the future don't hesitate to return. Please, take your leave so I don’t have to worry about my pack. I need to figure out what is happening to my pup."
Alpha Virgil started to come towards Chrys and I. The one they called a seer started to stand in his path but at his alpha's request he stood to the side as if trying to see what would happen. My Alpha started to pick Chrys up but for some reason I couldn't let go. I started to feel as if I would suffocate as my arm started to slip off her. Before she could be pulled away I grabbed hold of her hand begging with my eyes for him not to take her. I started crying again.
"It's okay Jamerson. I won't hurt you or her. I'm going to help her. Let go of her Jamerson," my Alpha said as he kept trying to pull her gently.
The seer finally spoke up. "You need to let them be alpha. They have tied themselves together and her transformation along with the separation is affecting them."
Alpha Virgil laid Chrys back down next to me and I felt better.
The new Luna stepped forward. "Alpha I know who your daughter is and who she is meant to be. The signs are all there. We can also sense who your Luna is. She is of the blood that speaks of magical energy. So, why are you trying to avoid this? You won't produce any more heirs. The only reason you two together were able to bear her is because she is the next chosen for your time."
Alpha Virgil closed his eyes while lowering his head. He turned and looked at the other alpha saying, "We only guessed at what you are now confirming. I guess that means you are from a different time or that time runs differently where you’re from. I don't want this to be tougher for her or my pack than it has to be. The less that they know about who she is the better."
The new alpha spoke again, "It is best that you prepare her not shelter her. You also need to continue to build your pack. They have to be strong for her. Shifting like this at this age means she will be the strongest of the ones chosen before her. Which also means the fight will be the worst it has ever been. Your luna can find the one to bind her from shifting again before the normal age. It will also keep her other powers in check. Her eyes may still change color but they won't shine and it will be very subtle. She will go back to not having the extra strength and speed. So no one will question her for the time being. She is an Alpha born of blood magic so there is no hiding her natural abilities, just the extras. You will be using the boy as the anchor since he is already bonded to her. Don't worry. It's not a mate bond. Someone must have tricked them into doing it. When the boy becomes of age and shifts for the first time the bond will lessen. They will still feel the connection. They just won't have to be so connected and can go their separate ways. When he finds his mate the bond will be no more."
Luna Elena stepped forward and put her hand on alphas chest. "I'm sorry Virgil. I should have told you. I noticed the bond and was keeping an eye on it. It is why I allowed them to do so much together. She will need a guard and protector anyhow. I know they aren't mates but it will do until the time comes for them to follow their own paths."
My Luna looked over at us and my eyes got even heavier. She turned back to others. "The binding will affect their short term memory. So we won't have to worry about them remembering this situation. I’m sure any injury she sustained has already healed. We won't have to explain it. Like my Alpha said, Thank you for bringing her back. We understand we can no longer act as if we don't see what and who she is. We will do our duty to our pack and our daughter. We will become stronger for her and give her the proper training. We won't be telling her right away. We will wait until her first shift."
Larry’s POVLooking over the pack wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Tiring but not too bad. There were others who were put in charge of different tasks and areas of the pack. I just had to go around and be sure they were handling everything in the right manner. Since we were finally gaining some control over the region. We had warriors everywhere to assist with the crime in their respectable towns. We were still picking off stragglers from when Jim was in charge. Our people are still skittish but they are healing. Hopefully we will gain better control over the pack businesses again. The dumb ass put us in so much debt. The bank and utility shop in the realm was mostly taken over by some humans. When we found that trail we just basically took it back. I don’t even want to think about all the red tape we crossed with the humans to do so.Let’s just say they will never remember being a part of the companies. I only had one more day until Alpha Jamerson was back. I co
Jude’s POV It was Friday morning and everything was pretty much the same. Trained with guys before I got a call from Kayne.Dude needed to relax. He was lucky I was in the pack house to receive the call. I told him everything was under control and for him to relax and focus on getting us the best deal in the alliance that he could. Since I’d walked the pack grounds checking on everyone making sure they were getting used to me again I’d decided to go into town to check on the business here at home. I made sure the warriors understood I’d be gone for a second before I walked out of the pack house. As soon as I shut the door and walked towards a jeep the sirens went off.I linked Jane a beta over training, “What is it Jane?” “We had a breach on the back of the sacred lands. They didn’t get too far but I sounded the alarm to be sure none got by us. There were at least ten rogues and an accomplice. The none rogue is alive. We have them chained and secured,” she explained.“O
Alpha Virgil’s POV After Jackson put the code into the guarded door that led to the prison cells we walked through it.“Did you have to give the boy such a hard time?” He asked me. “No. I just wanted to see how he would react under the pressure. I’m sure he’s a good wolf. He just has some unfortunate luck. Be sure to let him know I was only concerned. If I have to speak with him myself I will.” “I’ll have a talk with him first. He has been pushing himself nonstop since Chrys sent him back for the extra training. He really is a good warrior. He just needs to trust himself more.” Jackson responded. “So what happened out there? We usually don’t have an issue with rogues.” I asked him as we walked down the hall to the interrogation side room. “I was informed of the rogues approaching. There were about ten of them. You know rogues will have either extra strength or extra speed. Never both. Well they had both. I’m not sure if there was anything else different about them. By
Chrysalis’s POVI waited for Leon to respond.I could tell Blake wanted to kick me under the table. The silence was suffocating. For everyone else that is. I didn’t give two fucks. He came to the Accords each and every time offering a false peace treaty just so no one would rise up against him. That just tells me he is biding his time. Waiting until he has what he needs to start again. They shouldn’t have let him off so easily back then. Clinton stopped staring at me and looked at Leon. Everyone else did the same once they realized I’d said what I’d said and wasn’t going to back down.Leon looked at Clinton without answering me and said, “What is the next issue?” Clinton cleared his throat and continued. “The next issue is the Enchanted forest. We all know that forest is an unguarded gateway to the Dark Realm.”Again Leon interrupted saying, “Another none wolf issue?” “Prehaps you should allow him to speak so that he may be able to explain before you start dismis
Kayne’s POVAfter pretending to have been going over my files I looked up just at the same time as she did.But she was looking at Alpha Leon and his advisor. Why wasn’t I aware we had a regional she-wolf alpha? I thought. She didn’t linger long enough for them to notice she had been staring. I noticed a slight change in her eyes. It was one of recognition. She resumed going over her files before the Elder Wolf Clinton Rosemoon stood. We have other Elder wolves but he is more prominent. He keeps up with the younger generations. “Hello everyone. I'd like to go ahead and welcome you all to this year's Accords. The alliance of the Alphas. My Witch colleague hasn’t been able to make it in yet. She will join us as soon as she finishes handling her affairs.” He paused looking at the woman like he couldn’t figure out why she was there. The guy sitting next to her looked to be holding in a laugh while she rolled her eyes looking annoyed. The guy finally held up the name plate o
Kayne’s POV I woke up early this morning so I could get a workout in and check on the packs before the meeting. Jude told me that I needed to relax and focus on today's meeting. I knew that but it was out of pure habit that I checked in anyhow. I decided not to call again today unless I had to. I wanted him to know I was trying to trust him. And for the most part I did. I was just giving him a hard time for checking out on me when we needed each other the most.I was dressed and ready to go have a “snack” with Sam before going into the meeting. Since this weekend was more about business than anything else I had on a suit today. I still kept a blade on me. I got some of my hair done in some intricate braids so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. It's a good thing they don’t unravel when shifting. I don’t know the magic behind it but I’m grateful. I made my way out of the suite after grabbing my files off the desk. As I turned around Sam was leaning up against the opposi
Chrysalis's POV Sweating, I walked back into my mothers study. I’m not even this tired after kicking ass on the training grounds. Dueling with Gan-Gan was fun and invigorating though. For the first time the walls lead me straight to my mother. She was beginning to stand as I walked through th
Chrysalis's POV In the process of completely shutting down my eyes, I burst through the portal as if I was pushed from the other side. I could feel my mother’s aura as I took her with me. I blinked and a Crimson red wooden door appeared in front of me. Before I could fall into the door of my
Chrysalis's POV My grandmother stepped back with a smile on her face. She looked at me appraisingly, then looked at my mother. “You’re always taking up all her time whenever she comes back from the realm. I never get the time to properly spoil her," she said to my mother."Of course I’m going to
Luna Elena's POV I know I have to tell her but I was hoping she’d have met her mate or at least shifted before I did. I’ll just have to talk to Virgil and we will tell her after she comes back from her next order of business.I walked through the door intending to call for my mother but she was
