Chrysalis’s POV I suppressed Ember before she could make her presence known. With her protectiveness of Jade she would kill Levy if he moved wrong.I played it cool as if nothing was wrong. “Hey. Levy’s POV I had already checked in on everyone in the bar and in the lounge before ducking away into the new office downstairs. It was a lot like the one upstairs but with more monitors and a tad bit bigger. The system that Sylvie put in place, amongst other things, was helping out tremendously. I didn’t have to worry about tables not being served or tables not being cleaned in time for the next party. I knew she and the girls were heading this way so I came to this office in case they wanted to use the one upstairs. At least that is what I told myself. Who was I kidding? I thought. Chrysalis’s POVSix weeks later…I walked into Jade's office and flopped down on one of her sofas.She just kept typing without saying a word. She was used to this routine by now. She had an office on the same floor as the tech teams but they would rely on her assistance too much on the tasks she’d give them. Constantly coming into her office when they should have just been seeking approval and instruction from their supervisors. It was a distraction from running the new projects coming in. I could feel her holding back. She was one eye twitch away from literally lighting someone on fire. So we moved her on the top floor with us. We had the space and it presented a strong front on where she stood within the company. I think some of the employees were being petty. They were probably feeling some type of way since we just moved her up without posting the new position. Some of them may have felt a way on behalf of their supervisor or some probably thought they deserved it.
