“What nonsense are you talking about?” William asked, frustrated.

Lawrence looked him in the eye and said, “Trust me, we need to escape.”

“Escape?!” William exclaimed with a laugh of frustration. “Are you out of your mind?”

“William, I ain’t talking nonsense,” Lawrence said sincerely, with lots of seriousness in his voice.

“Are we going to leave just like this?” William asked with a streak of anger.

“Ye—” Lawrence couldn't finish what he was going to say because William punched him in the cheek.

“F*ck you!” William yelled angrily. His eyes glazed over at Lawrence and he said, “After all the care my parents gave you, this is what you're going to give back?”

“We'll get them back when the situation is okay,” Lawrence responded. He remained calm and added, “Now we have to run because they will be here at any moment.”

“Shut the f*ck up!” William exclaimed. He pointed in the direction of the door and shouted, “Go! Just go! ”
